To give you some credit though, I respect that you keep coming back here when you could of quite easily hidden away on the House of Commons thread and been greeted with open arms by the majority on that thread with your views. (or many other threads on PH)
At least you are open to other views contrary to your own even if you still think your views are the most correct.

What worries me the most is that the people radicalising some of these Muslims aren't approaching them going "well some of these westerners are actually alright" or "I've got a few mates who are white and they are great" or "you can't blame them all for bombing Iraqi children"
They approach them from the same logic but reversed, as say MrBrightSi, they will say all westerners are the same, all are responsible for the bombs in Iraq and Syria etc etc, all white people are vile etc etc...
So if you imagine how powerful MrBrightSi belief is that all Muslims are out to kill us, it's not hard to see that there are Muslim versions of MrBrightSi out there and they are being told that all 'Westerners are the same" and further to that a very small amount of them would be willing to take it to extremes beyond just being crass on a forum.
Unless you educate people into thinking in a balanced way you will get terrorism.
I may not of put this eloquently enough, but being balanced about stuff is the correct way to go IMO. If that tit who drove a car into people and stabbed a policeman had of had some balance to his hatred of the west, like you know "hey Buddy not all westerners are as bad as you think" maybe just maybe we could avoid this s

Where do you get all muslims from.
You guys need to differentiate between ISLAM a political and religious system, and muslims who are adherents to said system.
I enjoy locking horns through words, most of you wouldn't mind a good grapple with me over my ideals but you're in the western world and we have a great history of men who used words and not the sword.

When you see that Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers has had dead threats to his wife and child because Ed China has left the show...its not really hard to see why a human can get angry about 'westerners' or 'Muslims' etc because of something historical or present.
Instead of trying to hide away form the fact a percentage of humans, like us, eyes, brains, faces, names, hearts are utter cretins, by suggesting we are somehow vastly different... just accept humans can be nasty pieces of work....

When i joined PH i used to be a touchy feely guy thinking rich people owed the poor money. Thankfully life experience and a bit of the info i found on here as well as other sites changed that. So no, i came to PH when it was traditionally conservative, you know, rights of the individual, equality all that. There was a post in another thread stating that even though various people and even users on here are so quick to label us as extreme right wing, we are the ones who believe in "liberal" ideals.
