I am undecided about the propsed sec. def, but Micheal Flynn, Trump's pick for National Security Advisor, is a worry.

Among other things, during the election campaign he tweeted a link to a fake news story claiming Clinton was involved in a global child-sex trafficing ring eek

Just a few days before the election, the general tweeted a link to a news hoax from a right-wing conspiracy theory site called True Pundit, and said the New York Police Department had evidence of new Hillary Clinton emails that proved her involvement in or knowledge of money laundering and sex crimes with children, among other things.

MUST READ! https://t.co/O0bVJT3QDr—
Either Flynn thought it was true, in which case he's very gullible, or he knew it was false and posted it anyway, to smear an opponent.

Neither is a recommendation for such an important job.

He is superb at winding up lefties.
There's no finer sport biggrin Since the UK General Election it's been nothing short of an almost continual leftie/SJW wailfest, with interludes of building up to elections/referendums where they shriek and label everyone else racist/uneducated etc, followed by the resulting shrieking and crying etc

It's fking awesome.

Take those Youtube videos of wailing SJWs - hysterical! Could you imagine a conservative/right winger doing that?

You've prompted me to type "wailing lefties" into YouTube's search function.

This is the first one that comes up:-

Unlikely, the majority of reporting remains full on anti-Trump.

Thiessen is a neocon blowhard trying to ingratiate himself, like so many other neocons (a group that openly rejected him until he won, and are now doing a 180). The WaPo editorial board has been a home to many of these types for years, running counter to the hard news side (who have gone full on prog/globalization).

"Mr Trump said that costs at Boeing were ‘ridiculous'" - maybe that's because they actually pay their subcontractors, unlike Trump's various enterprises

Actually he probably wouldn't have been flying in it. It's not due to be ready until the latter half of his second term, should he get reelected. This way he can do a bit of virtue-signalling now and then either criticise the next President for extravagance OR change his mind (not that he does much of that)
