"Mr Trump said that costs at Boeing were ‘ridiculous'" - maybe that's because they actually pay their subcontractors, unlike Trump's various enterprises
Are you on drugs? $4 billion for a (possibly) well equipped private jet vs Mars Rover at a meandering $2.5 billion.

The guy has just stood up and said 'No way can I justify $4 billion of USA tax payer's dollars for a plane .' and you claim it is about not paying sub contractors.

How's your safe space right now? Have you got a decent supply of play dough and colouring books available?

No, I am not on drugs, nor do I feel the need to make such ad hominem allegations against other people ! Neither do I feel the need to infer that people need a 'safe space' or are childish - perhaps you should take a good long look at yourself if you feel the need to make such responses.

I was simply alluding to the fact that Trump has a long history of not paying people/companies who have done work for him, thus reducing his costs

Well, he's just turned down the offer of a $4 billion private jet from Boeing, so not all bad eh?
Actually he probably wouldn't have been flying in it. It's not due to be ready until the latter half of his second term, should he get reelected. This way he can do a bit of virtue-signalling now and then either criticise the next President for extravagance OR change his mind (not that he does much of that)
You have a valid point, but only time will really tell.

I'm on board with Trump at the moment, the appointment of Mattis will be interesting, if they can get him through the seven year itch.

For me though the big jump will be his appointment of a secretary of state - we've seen that he was talking with Romney, but now the list of potentials has advanced.

I've stated on these threads that I was laid up and watched Fox, CNN, RT, Algezeera, France 24, CCTV.

I was lucky enough to drain my brain listening to all of these news channels, and as I've said before I do think Trump has a degree of altruism, where by I think he genuinely wants to make America Great Again.

Has anyone actually checked the $4 billion is a valid number or has he just plucked it out of the air like the millions of illegal voters?

Martin, I'm not actually attacking you, I attended a training course today on interview techniques.

And the speaker during the course hadn't got a clue on what to do when people utterly disagree with the speaker's point of view.

I'm attacking the idea, not the man, but the man is playing the idea.

I'm attacking the man, because I think the man is wrong.

I think Trump is A1, I think he'll hopefully make a change that is long overdue.

It's not really plucked out of the air - a bit of google work might help.

But $4 billion seems like a massive amount?

Apparently it can take a direct hit from an ICBM, so that's handy

Out of interest, you say make America great again, when in your opinion was America 'great' and why is it not great now?

This is why I love Trump.

He is superb at winding up lefties.
There's no finer sport biggrin Since the UK General Election it's been nothing short of an almost continual leftie/SJW wailfest, with interludes of building up to elections/referendums where they shriek and label everyone else racist/uneducated etc, followed by the resulting shrieking and crying etc

It's fking awesome.

Take those Youtube videos of wailing SJWs - hysterical! Could you imagine a conservative/right winger doing that?
Thing is, and this is a very uncomfortable truth for Trump / Fargage ites... many of their policies are policies of the left.

It's just that they also throw in a nice bit of nationalistic racism as well.

Nationalist Socialists.

Where have I heard that before?

No idea fella - it's a rarely used word on a motoring forum and whilst it can be found in the dictionary it's not a great read - lots of words but the story line is a bit a - z

Looks like Godwin's Law has raised its ugly head - what a surprise.
