It doesn't make the claim true or not but 4chan are making false claim that they did this, there is evidence to show that this claim was making the rounds about a year and half ago long before 4chan's posting. But no media would publish as there was no proof to back it up.

They are only publishing now because it was documented in CIA report

Would it destroy them? I doubt it.

Russia doesn't need to be the source for Wikileaks. Russia could have passed it to someone else to share with Wikileaks. So even if the CIA said that Wikileaks would still have a potential 'out'.

I think Assange is fickle and will be an interesting source in the future, that is chuck out the dirt on the new lot as he sees fit. Of course there will be questions and viability on the source of that data.

In ten years or so someone will blab and a better understanding of be situation may arise.

In addition the reports I've read say that this CIA document is classified. So who leaked it? I know the Director of the CIA is chosen by the President but using them like this is IMO a big stty mark on Obama's otherwise decent presidency.
