Well he tried and tried again to get elected so add hypocrite to the list... He fronted that party and tried to be elected so that makes him very establishment surely...? He's slagging off himself!
I don't think so, he did get elected, and he could only be accused of hypocrisy on the MP front if he joined another party.

Ah bless....always nice to see a new bromance blossoming between a stalwart remoaner and a newer member.
You really do act like you've won a prize when blabbering on about brexit. Kind of like those ahole kids who are bad winners, except I'm not sure what you have won or why you are quite so obsessed about it?

You really should go out and live your life a little.

I had to chuckle at this - he has had a key role in creating the most divisive split in the UK in living memory.
That divisive split is just giving the majority what they want. The split has always been there, it's just that you were blind to it because you were in the minority getting what you wanted at the expense of the majority.

If you and the usuals just accepted the result without squealing every 5 minutes I expect the 'competition' would quite abruptly end.

The divisive split was not there until Farage and his "low grade" followers started to make a lot of noise about immigration.

Now half the country think its a massive issue causing all our woes - and blaming the other half for not seeing it.
The other half does not think immigration is responsible for even 1% of our problems - they lay elsewhere - and indeed FMOL is actually a good thing.

The two halves think two very different things - both can't be right, and evidence and experts suggest one side is considerably more right than the other. Farage and his ilk have been peddling lies on immigration for years. I don't blame people for believing it.

But its been divisive, make no mistake. Farage has even got you thinking I'm to blame for you believing his lies. He even calls his flock "low grade", and that's somehow my fault and not his. Amazing.

What is it that you think I have been "getting" all this time - exactly?

And what do the majority "want" - exactly?

This is a bit of a low grade response I have to say.

Mr Farage would not approve, clearly.

Well if I am a "bad winner" as our man in Brazil thinks then you must certainly qualify to be PH's very own worst loser...I shall miss you next week.

Unlike you my whole world does not revolve around Brexit in fact I only mention on PH forums...and as I will be spending £'s I am sure they will let me in just like any other place / country will once we have eventually Brexited.

Got back to the uk the other day...

It great to switch off from everything, including the internet, for a while. Something very liberating about it.

All differences aside, seriously, have a good time.

Yes, best not mention Brexit. Good thinking.

Have fun.

Get down to Trafalgar if you've not been.

He really is an odious little st. The irony and hypocrisy of him claiming that kippers exploited him for the sake of their self-promotion makes you wonder if he is actually mad? His entire political "career" has been based on using UKIP as a vehicle for The Nige Show.

And calling kippers "low grade" is contemptible. I disagree profoundly with UKIP's policies, but that doesn't makes its members evil, beneath contempt, scum, or "low grade", just mistaken. There is no excuse for sneering at people or writing them off.
Over the top IMHO. It was obvious that there were loads of entryists into UKIP, many disaffected Tories but also from the BNP and the like. There were/are low grade members, remember the ex-Tory councillor who blamed the floods on homosexuals? The bulk of Kippers are decent people but you cant ignore the nutters.

But Farage didn't say this before did he? Only now when he's basically the most powerful man in the worlds best friend forever.
He doesn't need to stir up the low grade people of the UK to hate stuff so he can raise his profile anymore.
He's moved on now and he'll want to distance himself from the rabble he gave a voice to.
His performance on Question Time was very very telling, banter with Will Self a lot of laughing and yes I think the real Nige will step forward now.
Playing to the cheap seats clearly works as Trump Farage and Clarkson have proved...

I think Farage deems his UKIP job done. Assuming May doesnt backslide, we are out. Mission accomplished. So what now? He is casting around simply because the Tories will not do the sensible thing and bring him into the fold. His contacts in the EU and USA could be invaluable.

Yes all of that is true but where does calling the UKippers "low grade" come into that?
He wants to be accepted at the top tables now so better distance yourself from the low lifes.

Presumably because he's now an elitist career politician who has no further need of the useful idiots

Farage is just a confidence trickster, no more and no less.

Like all confidence tricksters, now he's wrung everything he can out of his credulous victims, he shows them open contempt.

Not sure why this is news really; it's what all of us with a grain of intelligence saw coming from the moment he began to get media attention
