Hotline to the president elect, a possible knighthood, and a regular slot on LBC starting tonight at 7pm, - the man seems to be doing well for himself.

Also, some of his comments are exceptionally prescient, even in the awful article from the OP - Farage was quoted as saying: "I’m quite good at bringing people together,”

One look at this thread confirms it, whether it's Don and Katie in an unholy coming together or other PHs mashing the keyboard invigorated by a mass debate - Farage inspires beer

Where'd the possible knighthood idea come from? I know don4l worships the ground St Nigel of Thanet walks on, but didn't realise that was enough to get him a knighthood.

A regular slot on LBC isn't that great an achievement - didn't Nick Clegg used to have one?

Not at all for having different opinions, no. I quite agree with you that this new 'libertarian facisism' is a terrible thing.

I dislike him for his arrogance, smugness and totally condescending posting style. I find his 'lefty-annoying' persona as nauseating as its idiotic. I mean, posting pictures of Farage braying or links to songs about Remaner tears is the stuff of a halfwit.

But what I dislike most is his slipperiness and lack of backbone. One minute he's Irish, then he's not, when it suits him. If he gets called out, he ignores it and hides until he thinks it's safe to venture out again or he tries to deflect attention to something else.

I don't think he actually *is* stupid, which makes him more contemptible in my eyes, as ignorance is forgiveable.

See,in my eyes a lot of that applies to you.
I find your posting style and views bloody awful, smugness is an attribute I'd far more attribute to yourself.
Interesting - I don't recall us ever locking horns in the past but obviously I'd prefer it if people liked my posting style, if not my posts! I suppose the post above yours proves you can't please all of the people all of the time.

As for my views, I'd say I was pretty moderately centrist. I'm generally pro NHS but also pro Trident. I think everyone's too sensitive and quick to take offence on behalf of others but equally I feel 'PC gone mad' has become an easy cover for people to air some quite noxious views. I don't think there's much more to my views than that but obviously if you find that awful then you're more than entitled to and I can only apologise.

So UKIP leader puts forward former UKIP leader for a knighthood. At the same time, UKIP leader says he has to muzzle former UKIP leader if there's any chance of UKIP continuing as a force in British politics.

I haven't been playing detective.

Somebody on here wrote that my wife had left me. I wondered where the poster had got their misinformation from, so I looked into it.

Surely, if people are printing lies about me, I am allowed to investigate?

Anyway, I was chuffed to bits to discover that you, Greg66 and others are whinging about me on another forum.
That's a bit mean.

I think the last time I mentioned you was when you utterly humiliated yourself in public on the subject of tides and balloons filled with water.

Although I must admit that I think you've hit a new low confessing to wanting to have sex with an imaginary daughter. That's really quite beyond the pale.

Isn't it a bit mean to go onto another forum to label someone as a "fking "?

I've never referred to you in such disparaging terms, and I never will.

Do you really think that I shouldn't be allowed to read what you and Disastrous are writing about me?

BTW, my numberplate isn't the naff "don4l".

See above - standard Don4l defence:

"Let's not focus on me fantasexing an imaginary daughter - look over there, a bad man called me a name!!! That's much worse!! Isn't it????"

Well, yes and no. On here that would get a banning. So there's no point saying it here. But on the other hand, if you want to have sex with an imaginary daughter, you justly deserve rather worse IMO.

I don't believe I've ever said you shouldn't be allowed to read something.

I note that you seem to think that people shouldn't be allowed to express opinions though. Which is all a bit lefty-liberal-professionally offended, if I may say.

Why do you hate straight talking free speech?

No, you didn't use those words and at least you did it here where people could see you, but you labelled those who voted Remain as traitors to their country. ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ) . That's far more sensible, adult approach to debate, isn't it.

Unsurprisingly.

Well this thread has taken a dive into the gutter.

Don4l fantasising about incest with Katie Hopkins is a new low for this forum. His balloon and tide postings were just bizarre, this is a bit sick...

What it comes down to is that the people that follow UKIP get all in a lather about this "PC gone mad!!" stuff and how they can;t say what they really think anymore because of some elite establishment clap trap.
But when someone is not PC about UKippers / Nigel, or Katie Hopkins the old slag trout with a face like a smacked camel BTW i hope she dies from that brain tumor thing, they get all high and mighty and sound a bit like lefties !

You want freedom of speech to say what you like? Well if you do then deal with people calling ALL UKippers sub human scum, if you can't then YOU are part of the "PC brigade" stopping people expressing opinions.

You can't have it both ways, unlike that UKipper with the Farage Tattoo....

I didn't vote in the brexit debacle as i'm German and i don't like ANY parties as they are all useless and regardless of tie they they are all in it for themselves or their donors...
