Man shot dead on M62 in pre-planned police operation

Talk about deviation,
Nothing about this situation is about race, certain groups form with a group identity.
In the day, near Wrexham, it would quite often happen that a group of lads from Gresford would arrive in town and have a spirited discussion with the lads from Rhos.
The police would arrive and intervene, everyone would end up in the cells.
The problem arises when one group attracts political attention and somewhere a decision is made to 'lightly' police them.
This allows criminality to prosper and increases the divide between the group and other groups due to a perceived unfairness.
Vicious circle closes.

I like this idea of a lightly policed group. Nothing about this situation is about race, certain groups form with a group identity.

Exactly which part is relevant? The fact that he may have been a drug dealer or his heritage. Seems like you are only interested in one aspect. Didn't realise drug dealers had a specific colour. My link is relevant too on that case. As they were drug dealers too. Happy now

Read through some of my posts and see where I stand on this matter and anything to do with racism or prejudice.
Then have a think about the relevance of the specific programme that Carinaman referenced to this particular thread.
Drug dealers are white too, as are pedophile gangs, which is exactly what I have been saying throughout this thread.

Feel free to start a thread about someone in Tenerife who has been protected by the ex pat community and I will happily join you in castigating both them and the community, I'll even agree that there is a direct parallel to this thread (direct parallel?) but your link was really not relevant to the subject under discussion, carinamans was. If you cannot see this then your mind is as receptive as the average granite worktop and further discussion worthless.

ETA. For anyone else interested, the podcast is very much worth listening to the whole way through - several interviewees give a very frank and enlightening picture of the situation.
