Causing a bit of controversy this one. It's somewhat close to the bone.

I am surprised that hasn't been pulled.

"It paints the wider Muslim Community in a bad light, suggesting that they are all Suicide Bombers and creates community divisions at a time when we should be reaching out to each other"...

I mean, quite close to the bone (but that's no reason to pull it).

Its problem is that it's not very funny.

I suspect that it's another politically motivated comedy, designed to dissuade female Muslims getting involved with brainwashed Islamic fascists. Will it work though?

If I am wrong and it's purely a comedy, I personally don't find it very funny at all Probably conceived by the same ilk who produced Citizen Khan, which was also dire.

I think it's quite a good parody. Taking the piss of out of 'real housewives' rubbish, highlighting the double standards of the converted 'death to the west' types whom still rely on staples of western society like social media, and being critical of Islamic extremism.

Being that its the BBC, im surprised they didn't insist that the sketch was called "Real housewives of so-called ISIS".

I don't think you have grasped why they call them 'so called', its not because they are denying they even exist, its to not conform into recognition of it even being a 'state' at all.... so dense, no wonder UKIP get votes.

To recognize them as a 'state' is not what the UK does..hence "so called"...

Or simply call them DAESH..

The same people who say ISIS have nothing to do with Islam are now complaining to say this show is anti-Islam. That's like someone saying "I'm against the Ku Klux Klan and they are not real Christians, but don't you dare make fun of the KKK because that is racist and offensive to Christians".

You can't have it both ways.

Watching 5 minutes of the actual Real Housewives is enough to make you think ISIS might actually have a point

Wow, actual topical satire on the BBC? They must have st themselves. Quick cut to Paul Merton and Ian Hislop laughing at the Tory party.

They've got a point.

Not all Muslims are suicide bombers. Some of them just drive trucks into large crowds of people.
