It's remarkable how nature consistently goes along with the global warming scam. Do you think corals and oceans are in on the conspiracy?
That'll be the non-existent conspiracy strawman you like to mention repeatedly, this time alongside the error of thinking that nature goes along with non-existent manmade global warming. The item linked by robinessex gave a prime example of this - coral reefs have survived warmer temperatures and 'acidify' the oceans around them when healthy and growing, this finding is nature at work and has nothing at all to do with manmade global warming nonscience.

There certainly is a link with political heat and resulting hot air of course.

Corals and marginal and natural dealkalination of the oceans represent the natural succcessor to Mann's jolly hockey stick.

Cause and effect. It’s essential to get them in the correct order! Unless your next 'investigation' grant depends on this answer of course !!

Precisely. It's yet another causality fail for the faith.

More will be along soon, lucky us!

As ever, this is just your take on things which - even if you and your followers believe it - isn't validated by anybody who knows what they're talking about.

Stand by for the "appeal to authority" turbowaffle.

TB's followers? Projection Durbs? Just because you are part of a cult doesn't mean anyone else on these forums are....
You may need validation from your idols - I prefer logic, reasoning, testable hypothesis and results.

OMG!
Ocean acidification if killing all the coral and "it's unprecedented and worse than previously thought"

Come on guys, Climate change is so last week, we have moved on to Oceanic change now.

IIRC TB predicted this several years ago on this very forum.

Bleaching is associated to el nino, which has been forecast by many people, it is not caused solely by warming, and the changed in temperature are less than diurnal changes anyway.

Salinity and sun light have much to do with bleaching.

California's governor Jerry Brown once said that the State’s drought was the new normal, and blamed it on climate change—now it’s officially over so presumably manmadeup warming by any other name is over with it.

http://us.blastingnews.com/news/2017/04/california...

Numerous studies showed that the State’s drought was within normal variation, not historic or unprecedented, and unrelated to agw...what a surprise!

This is the politics thread, yes?
The politics is "be scared, and give us your f'ckin money" as far as I can tell. I feel a little sorry for those who haven't spotted the bait and switch.

Is the Diesel fiasco the current King of CC political ineptitude?

Here some analysis and the comments are rather interesting too.

Recommended reading.

Although perhaps not much that is new to readers here the matter is handled nicely and is currently a good and concise reference.
