Obama climate legacy?

It looks more like bye bye baby and good riddance.

If only May could see beyond the tokenism of removing the Climate Change Dept (welcome all the same, in context) and repeal the nonsensical and costly Climate Change Act.

Trump plans to 'refocus the EPA'.
bks to the EPA; setting fire to the DOE is more pressing, and instead have a nuclear regulator that actually regulates rather than inhibiting new-build and effectively pricing out new technology.

This is terrible, will nobody think of the candle makers what will become of them ? hehe

Myself I would like to see an end to this nonsense , but more than that I would like to see the so called scientists held to account for their actions.

Gore 'hoping for best' from Trump over climate

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-38691...

Former US Vice President Al Gore says he believes climate change campaigners will "win" the debate, even with a new president in the White House who has previously called global warming "a hoax."
At the world premiere of his environmental documentary, An Inconvenient Sequel, at Utah's Sundance Film Festival, Gore called those demanding action on climate change "a mass movement - one that cannot be ignored".
Like its predecessor, 2006's Oscar-winning An Inconvenient Truth, this film, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power focuses on Mr Gore's lifetime campaigning for global action on climate issues, and on the search for renewable energies.
The politician says he was initially "reluctant" to make another film, but believes the 2015 climate conference in Paris was a "benchmark".
However, the film ends with the election of Donald Trump as president in November 2016.

Let battle commence

As for Gore, what a hoot, the man is blinded by faith more than most. Anyone would be forgiven for thinking he's making money from belief exploitation.

Hmm.

They must use different measurement values in North Africa. Smaller metres by the looks of it.

Interesting they have snow related recreational objects - sledges if the report is to be believed.

Would sand sledges be viable on snow?

OK, so where people actually live we're getting century busting cold events. But in the Arctic where we have one sensor for every 250,000 square km we have a few warm readings (and then infill the rest using Mann-o-maths).

We can then compute a totally meaningless Global Average Temperature to a totally spurious level of accuracy and generate "Hottest Year Evah" headlines (0.07, jeez). Then, even if this horsest were true it would still mean they have missed their alarming (Al Gore on a stepladder) forecasts by miles thus invalidating their half-baked theory (thank you Mr. Feynmann).

And durbs (decent fellow that he is) thinks this is validation for crippling World economies. I just don't get it.

Thank F the Wisdom of Crowds can see through this total crapola and Mr Trump is swiftly dismantling the whole edifice. Good man. Let's pray our new "Maggie" does similar over here. Patterson for Environment Minister?
