Labour have selected their most ardent Remainer hehe as their candidate in the Stoke-on-Trent by-election.

Gareth Snell nuts ...he actually backed Turkey joining the EU. rolleyes

Snell tweets more times than Trump, usually about his opposition to Brexit, even using his foul language by calling it a 'Massive pile of sh*t'. rolleyes

Listen. What's that sound?
Paul Nuttall laughing his socks off and celebrating!

Labour? roflrofl

The flip side of that argument is that if Nuttall doesn't win it now he's going to look like a right tit.

what have you got against "left Tits" are you "titist".
I don't know Nutall too well but I cant help thinking he is being judged on his appearance and accent. He will have a lot in common with the people of Stoke and will probably look like a lot of thembiggrin

Anyone else hear C4 news challenging Paul Nuttall on his address? Wonder if it will be enough to disqualify him.

Similar situations have barred people from standing in local council elections in the past so there is a good chance that he will be excluded, yes.

He didn't even TRY to answer a different question, just made an ironic denial!

Erm, OK after watching that, the reporter is a knobhead. I shouldn't be surprised considering the state of 'so-called' reporters in the UK. The scouser answers the question quite plainly, but the dipst typical weasel word reporter tries to constantly make it out like it's wrong.

Why indeed?

Doubt he could pass as anything other than scouse so how on earth he thought it would gain him anything is beyond me. Could end up shooting himself in the foot.

Now looks almost certain UKIP will win Stoke. Nearly 65% of all bets going on UKIP today, up from 45% a few weeks ago.

It's this faux outrage about utter trivialities and trying to "trip someone up" that really p*sses me off.

What a bellend that reporter is. There are plenty of important issues he should be focusing on but no, let's try and get a fatuous juicy headline about nothing.

Eh?

Just looked and they're not even favourites! Now you can argue they're good value at 2.1 on Betfair but it's a helluva leap to "almost certain".

Labour's man must be really resonating with Brexit-friendly Stoke. I wonder if he has a stand in the high street with his own slogan of 'Brexit pile of st'?
If he wins here, it will at least confirm the old line about sticking a red rosette on any old turd and still wining.

I don't normally like to make predictions, but given the Labour party are fielding this twit, I simply cannot see them winning. TBH, even if you were anti-Brexit, this guy's Tweets come across as the rantings of a six-form common room socialist, not a modern, informed and intelligent politician. I can't see the people of Stoke voting for this.
