If only there was a 'none of the above' section on the voting slip, this election is crying out for that
It's something I'd vote for...but then it would never be allowed.
The establishment don't like this sort of thing....brexit, jedi as a religion, boaty mcboatface etc. They know that on occasion they risk an absolute smashing.

Turning up to vote is a legal requirement in Australia as it happens - there's a cursory fine if you don't, it's twenty bucks or something like that. Once you arrive and are accounted for you can do as you please however, drawing a big cock and balls on the ballot paper is acceptable, just so long as you turn up.
That's pretty cool.

Why can't we have a box with "none of the above" is it because it might win too many votes. We should start a petition.
Yes.

Emotional stuff, brings a tear to the eye.

Bizarre, and just as bizarre are the comments by the acolytes on that orderorrder page sucking his balls, he can do no wrong. Reminds me of some of the mentals here, and I don't mean UKiPs but any acolytes.
Fundamentalists, whether it be political of any stripe, cultural or religious.

yes I would be surprised if Nuttall does not voluntarily resign as leader in the event of him losing.
If UkiPs are to continue, it would be best to dump that balloon.

Didn't realise Stoke was the ame date as COpeland, I knew COpeland was this week.

I think Eddie's chances have slipped some, due to his Billy Liar history.

The lack of quality candidates in this by-election and the stupidity of the main two will probably result in poor turn out of voters. I Think it will be close, but think Labour will edge.
I reckon Labour will edge in COpeland as well, I reckon the NHS will have a greater pull than Sellafield.

I'm still calling a Labour hold on this one, has anybody changed how they voted/predicted since the thread started up?
O had to check, but I haven't, I called a Labour win back then...but I have changed my mind on COpeland.

AT least 10 (a day).
Beetroot and blueberries are also important.

I feel for Nuttall tonight. Bet he's not been this nervous about a result since he lined up that drop goal in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final.

Has Nuttall updated his page yet to say he won?
That's what a UKiPs wag said on the night. biggrin

A pretty good win for Labour. The mad scientist had lots of good stats. The 'supposed/projected' weakness of Labour in Stoke was more to do with Brexit than Corbyn, and UKiPs played it poorly.
He's probably one of the best talking heads on these shows, always offers good insight.
