Your number one Sun is reporting that married Clare Moseley (no relation to spanky) the founder of 'Care4Calais' has been knobbing one of the migrants she was there to help. All this despite her organisation having a 'zero tolerance' policy on relationships between volunteers and migrants.
To add a little extra spice to the story it's also reported he's conned her out of thousands, stolen her property and threatened to blackmail her. biggrin

Personally I don't care if some middle aged woman decides to have an affair but what does concern me is that care4calais is a registered charity and this makes me wonder what else is going on under the surface.

Surely this hypocrite now has to resign from her role in order to restore confidence in the organisation?

What, another one?

The jungle seems to have attracted some exceptionally moral people.

I can see the 'brilliance'. People never leave their family to 'get some cock'. Totally unheard of.

I'm confused. Why does her having an alleged affair with a migrant mean "something else might be going on"? confused

Both these women should have their passports removed, let's see how in love these guys are then.

As she's a liar and hypocrite it makes me wonder what other sort of corruption may be occurring.

Surely the head of a charitable organisation should adhere to the highest standards of probity rather than behaving like a love struck teenager?

She's possibly has an affair with somebody. It happens all the time. It doesn't make them some kind of evil monster.

Strange how self righteous PH becomes in some circumstances.

She runs a registered charity, proposes strict rules which she, on a long term basis is breaking, you think she is trustworthy in other ways?
Personally I wouldn't even raise an eyebrow at someones extre marital excursions. None of my business but to make it a rule of the organisation she founded, whilst being in breach of that rule, seems to cast doubt on her trustworthiness?

I don't know why anyone is really surprised by this.

Just as it was quite clear that most of the migrants were not women and babies but young men so it was quite clear that most of those who were desperate to "help" them were maladjusted women who weren't happy with their lives at home.

As I stated in my original post I don't care about the infidelity, it's the lying and hypocrisy.

This woman has stated that her organisation has a 'zero tolerance policy' in regard to relationships between volunteers and migrants whilst doing exactly that herself.

I don't think anyone has suggested she's 'an evil monster' either. She just doesn't strike me as being a fit and proper person to be the head of a registered charity.

You're right of course people do have affairs all the time and it doesn't make her an evil monster. She is however the head of a charity which has a definite policy in place that specifically prohibits the acts she is indulging in.

Putting aside the usual NP&E dramatics this is more concerning than just "Oh well plenty of people do it".

This thread is a good indicator of the polarisation we have in NP&E. On one side we will have all the "This is to do with migrants burn them" mentality while on the other the "Nothing to see nothing to see ignore it" attitude. Neither is particularly insightful.

Well said.

The work the charity does isn't the issue here.

And?

So help me out here to understand the outrage; the issue is that she did something that broke strict rules that she set and thats why she is untrustworthy?
