In every town tnight tipsy and drunk people will be having sex having met for the first time. There will be lots going on.

Because theyre footballers they get hung out to dry.
There's nothing illegal about drunk/tipsy people banging uglies. There is (rightly) something illegal (as well as morally abhorrent) about taking sexual advantage of someone too drunk to walk/stand/speak. The profession of the scumbags is irrelevant.
A point lost on many. Quite how it's enjoyable to shag a woman who's in this state is something i'm struggling to understand? It can't be far off shagging a corpse.

Apparently that's not how it is though?
In the Footballer case wasnt the participant able to partake fully at that time and in previous instances with others, just that she didnt remember afterwards?

A points going to come where everything's going to have to be video recorded, and there'll still be doubt about what occurred was intended

The Ched Evans case is quite different to this one.

I guess you'll need to find someone who's done both in order to answer that question.

Different case for several reasons - this time, he was prosecuted. He wasn't found guilty, but nor was his name entirely cleared - Scots law has a third verdict of "not proven". It is in legal effect exactly the same as "not guilty", but tends to be taken to mean "we're not sure you did, but nor are we sure that you didn't".
