I didn't realise you needed to build any bridges ,we may not agree on brexit (and never will) but to fall out over threads on a obscure politics forum on a car web site strikes me as dumb in the ex stream (i will crow loudly when brexit starts to go to hell in a handcart though).
Oh I don't mind disagreements on Brexit - I fully support your right to crow if it ever goes to st and I will eat copious qty of "humble pie" for making a terrible decision to vote leave. My issue is with you lack of capitalisation and punctuation but it is improving

However, one thing struck me about Our Glorious Leader's speech today. Margaret Thatcher, most beloved of many on PH, didn't think much of the EU towards the end of her premiership. However, one of the few things she did like about he EU was the Single Market and the advantages it brought to Britain's trade with the rest of Europe.
The poor cow is probably turning in her grave tonight...
I doubt it. The poor cow is probably turning in her grave tonight...
As I'm sure you know the EU didn't exist during her premiership. The increasing protectionist nature of the customs union, the flooding of labour depressing wages and the continuing contributions to the EU blackhole, Thatcher would have invoked A50 on June 24.

Funnily enough I don't think she's said a lot, and that is where she's been more than competent, and the direction you accuse her of lacking was quite clear to see today.
May's been in office just over 6 month's, I don't think she's done that bad to date.
I voted leave, it's clear which way you voted.
You reckon he was old enough to vote?May's been in office just over 6 month's, I don't think she's done that bad to date.

Maybe, but the EU today is quite far from the early trading bloc. We are now trading with a bloc with practically no growth, a failing currency and almost broke states. The poor cow is probably turning in her grave tonight...
Im sure we will suffer from our new relationship with the EU. But the world is a smaller place than when we joined the EU. Perhaps we can make up for the loss by improving trade with Us, China, India, Africa, South America etc etc. ?

What do you expect her to have done by now?
Got us some way towards leaving rather than just muttering brexit means brexit and not much more.Referendum Result Planing

Carry on - nothing to see here - the inevitable creep towards a EuSSR continues you just won't see it and lots of lovely money gets printed and pumped into the failing states and the can gets kicked down the road again and again - sweet
Leave - RunawayPM said:
we don't have a plan for that, it's not going to happen - I said to my old mate Junkers "got this in the bag Junkers me old mate" - I'd be a shoe in for the next president vacancy - I mean there are at least 5 so shouldn't take too long - sometime round 2020 would be bloody perfect.....
I loved this quote after the ReferendumJunkers said:
Much as I would have liked to respond factually and truthfully to each and every piece of misinformation spread by the Brexit campaign, it was important that I stayed out of the domestic political debate. It was David Cameron's task to win the UK referendum, not ours.
Junkers you are right - It was and he showed just how useless and out of touch he was RichB said:

You left an apostrophe and a couple of letters out of that critique. As for an Apostrophe I always have an excess of those
What is the single biggest downside that anyone can genuinely attribute to one single politician in their lifetime?
An example being, you could in theory blame your son or daughters death as a soldier in Iraq on Tony Blair. Thatcher for loss of parents job as miner.
These are real examples, albeit not entirely the blame of one person but so much of this rhetoric is so tennis, attention seeking, self indulgent whinging..

I'd guess that a very lengthy list of issues could be drawn up if you stuck Tony Blair name up.An example being, you could in theory blame your son or daughters death as a soldier in Iraq on Tony Blair. Thatcher for loss of parents job as miner.

A great way of settling this whole euro debate would be to have a democratic vote on the subject. Whoever gets the majority gets their way, do you think that might work? (BTW I live in Euroland and brexit will be a massive PITA for me and likely cost me a great deal of money in the long run)
Get the Dutch to vote out too and join the free world.RichB said:
