that's what it looks like to me, anyway. The story pitches it the opposite way. Whadyya think?

Their attempt to stop him getting away is what caused him to run over people and do a wheelie - he clearly wasn't in control as it looks they were trying to grab him off the moped, which led to the throttle going wide open as he hung on to it.
Assuming this has arisen from an issued parking ticket, seems a bit out of order. If they disagreed on the ticket there are appropriate ways to dealing with it. Wonder if the warden had a body cam?

Exactly - why was there an altercation in the first place? I guess the Mail will never tell us as the important thing for them is that the traffic warden is a "little Hitler" and a "jobsworth" harassing hard working families.Assuming this has arisen from an issued parking ticket, seems a bit out of order. Yep this - all of the videos start at the point the warden tries to reverse out of the space and leave - but by that point there are already at least five or six (possibly more) people surrounding him. None of the videos have sound - so it's difficult to judge whether the people were shouting or threatening the warden - but being surrounded by a group of men would be intimidating even if they weren't shouting.One thing that does puzzle me is - why did the men try to stop him leaving. None of the videos show an assault or anything else that would lead me to think he should be legitimately detained. It's only after the men intervene and try to prevent him leaving (putting themselves in harms way in the process) that it all kicks off and people get injured.

Also, is their religion of any relevance to the story?
