Notwithstanding the amount of things you need to charge after a ride, I think they should put more usb's on computers these days....S'pose I could always wear the helmet whilst surfing the net silly

indicators are a waste of time and its £100 too much for a commuter helmet

Good idea though

I kept seeing this come up on Facebook when it was still a kickstarter. Looks like a good idea.

But at £145, it's pretty punchy.

I like that. Looks really well thought out.

The shell looks like my Met Chaos, and if you add up the cost of good front/rear lights, the price doesn't look too bad.

The idea could be taken a stage further, if Exposure/Hope/Lupine etc were to partner with a helmet producer to integrate their own lights.

I think the days of strapping lights onto your helmet using an elastic band could be coming to an end.

£13 and five minutes with a screwdriver (and the 'leccy turned off, naturally!) gets you one of these...

I got mine from B&Q and it's in the kitchen above a worktop. Now, rather than rummaging for adapters or turning the PC on simply to charge a light, I can come in from a ride and charge my front and rear bike lights simultaneously, and my wife loves it because she can charge her iPod easily and conveniently in the kitchen so it's in view when she packs her bag for work in the morning.

Simple swap for a standard double socket face-plate, so wherever you have a standard socket now, you can have a convenient USB charger point with minimal fuss.
