Its Lewisham - same area where the two cops were attacked on the other video typical heavy handed Met.
I somewhat doubt everything would be rosy if there were fewer officers given the objections of the person watching. I'd rather have the numbers for eventualities rather than worry someone won't like a couple of officers stood near a stop and search.

The "mouth" commentator probably contributed more to any police attitude than anything else.

I`d have slapped him just to shut his gob.

Rubbish - hes a young schoolboy not some Yardie gangster. He was actually pulled for a cycling offence having listened again. They wonder why the kids turn on them??
What area are they in? Who else is there?

It's a few cops involved in a stop and search. It doesn't really matter.
Not sure if this is true, but a friend who lives in London says the cops stopped him for riding either a red light or cycling the wrong way down the road. However, apparently he was also wearing a face mask and there were tensions between some schoolkids and rumours about someone might be knifed.
Puts a different perspective on it, but then it's London.

Our canteen staff were the salt of the earth - the only parasites we're in the black pudding... vomit

Your wit would be out of date with current officers now sadly, as most of the canteens have gone, instead officers are expected to bring a packed lunch or go into the local supermarket to outrage some virtue signaller and appear in the local paper.

I lived off sarnies on shifts for my whole 30yrs - only our divisional nicks had canteens and were only open during office hours - so nothing new here

Professional?.. no, not at all.

He will never respect the police after this
When I was 17 I had 8 on me, yes 8 I'd done nothing either oh and I was assaulted and charged to boot.

I was pulled over weekly because I had a fiesta rs turbo and lived on a council estate

Shame I had no card to pull and my peers didn't give a st or grew up with people telling me I was a victim. Just think where I'd be now if I released how persecuted I was frown
When I was still in the Police I more of less knew all the decent motors that lived on the estates where I worked. Anything else got pulled as it was usually nicked or no insurance etc....fact I'm afraid. AS for the Fiesta, loved mine, though a nightmare to own back in the day.

Hang on subconsciously you do feel persecuted. You said it "I was pulled over weekly because I had a fiesta rs turbo and lived on a council estate"
So you think you were pulled because of where you were born and the car you drove. So the more serious one is the class you were. So you DO actually think you were being persecuted due to where you were from and maybe some middle class kid wouldn't of been pulled over so much in your mind...
Thinking rightly or wrongly your being pulled due to the council estate you were born on is not much of a leap to add 'being black' to that if you were black is there?
You really think the Police stop people based on the class system? Hmm.

Why are you using this one incident to justify this kid turning on the police? I was stopped many times as a kid, searched etc. I was a white kid growing up in East London. Didn't turn me against the police. Why does it have to be a bigger issue just because the kid is black?

We're either all equal or we're not.

Not the first time our experiences of Police service are polar opposites! More significant than the loss of the Police canteen was the Police bar too! Both shaded by the station itself closing last year...

Yep - all of our bars have closed - I was our sports club secretary at my sub divisional nick for 12 yrs.. Great bars - 'open all hours'...and most of the nicks I used to drink at have also been flattened.

So officers being punched in the face and burnt with cigarettes is down to bad planning?

You really are a complete fool.
