I don't think he'll last a full term. He'll get fed up when he realises it's not all gin palaces and adulation.

People accused Blair of 'cronyism' - Trump has taken this to the extreme. I'd go as far as to suggest it'll be the most corrupt presidency the US have ever seen.

It will be comedy if/when they announce he's got a second term.
G. W. Bush was voted in again and that guy was a moron.

Bush entered office with colossally low ratings and could do nothing...then the 11th of September happened, and Bush became a God.

I reckon he's safe, judging by precedent.

Churchills bust is back in the Oval Office already, so I think our relationship with him will probably be mutually beneficial.
Hope he gets two terms.

As long as he can get through some of his more 'Reaganonomics' policies through the drag factor layers of penpushers (some of the checks and balance are good though and are designed to reign in a possible dictator) then I think a second term easily. He just needs to kick out the lefty wealth redistribution, 'progressive' policies and he'll be doing well.

Oldest president at inauguration, and a flabby exercise-averse one at that. Then the stress of the job, along with declining approval as his supporters realise he can't/won't do all the things he said he would means my money is on ill health cutting short his first term. That is if he's not impeached by then.
Pretty much this. I do hope he lasts the whole term. If he doesn't that nutjob Pence gets in, right?
I actually hope he lasts 4 years as well, let see if the grand new experiment works for the vast majority of Americans.

Much as I think the Orange Flim Flam man is the worst possible leader for America and is destined for failure, that's their choice, if they can't tell reality from Reality TV that's also their choice as a country, if he takes away their health care and leaves them dying and bankrupt, that is the choice they made.

Having said that I wish him the best because a peaceful & prosperous US is a good thing for the world as a whole and me as an individual.

I reckon it'll be one term, he's old, and he may get flummoxed by the GoP donkeys in Congress, they are not the best of bedfellows.
He seems to be close to FDR and New Deal style economics, Ryan and the Turtle may be as much an opposition as the Dem lot.
The one good law that I recall, term limits on COngress...well that got slapped down quickly enough.

One term. He starts with full Republican control of the House and Senate and the mid terms will not change much so should be able to get some legislation through if he dies not fight too much with them. Still , the country is deeply and bitterly divided and the last few Presidents were seen as illegitimate by their opponents. Trump starts with higher negatives than anyone and it will be a rough ride fior the US I think.

Yep. The bust has moved all the way from outside the Treaty Room to the Oval Office. I guess Trump has moved the Abraham Lincoln bust out the Oval Office to make room for it.

I think he'll be stabbed in the back by the Repubs once they've got what they want from him. He'll scrap Obamacare, reverse a lot of Environmental stuff, they'll maybe give him his wall. Then once the midterm elections are out of the way they'll throw him under a bus before he does anything radical.

Incidentally, I think this is why Trump made such a big deal of slagging off the previous administrations and is now trying to discredit the media- he knows the Republicans aren't his friends, but if he can keep the Republican electorate onside he could do a Corbyn and just carry on with a thousand knives in his back.

Two terms. US will begin to fully unravel afterward due to the sheer weight of internal cognitive dissonance and pent up rage that have their origins in Bush, Jr.'s first term.
