What's all this' snowflake' st on here? It is a ridiculous baby's word and just makes you sound like a teenage halfwit.

Anyway, snowflakes melt due to temperature increases, not by being confronted with reality. Also, the definition of a snowflake absolutely is not 'a man you disagree with on the internet'. What a stupid post.

I had no idea it was such a thing. I'm conflicted by that article. I've no time for people being all 'triggered' and offended but think it's ridiculous to expect younger generations to just accept what they don't like. Thing are meant to change and that's driven by youth disaffection.

Aside from all of that, it's just a properly st insult that makes me think less of the person using it. It's neither offensive, clever or even especially accurate. It's also unoriginal and overused.

No. democracy is where all eligible persons with no bias towards gender, colour, race, and religion are given the equal right and opportunity to vote on a matter. The votes are then counted, and the party which achieves the highest number of votes gets their position put into place.
Whining, protesting and marching about the result `after' the event is just sheer sour grapes, and smacks of nothing more than spoilt brats, scweeming and scweeming and stamping their lickle footsies because they did not get the result `they' wanted, and achieves nothing beyond a degree of loathing from those who are prepared to accept the result of a democratic vote of the people, (even if it did not go the way some of them wanted it to)
I am all for equality between genders, but I would want to see total equality, not the `equality' many of these women marchers deem is their right.
When I see women working in an abattoir, or cleaning out a sewer, or cesspit, or building houses, or bridges, or mining rocks out of the ground, and do all the nasty jobs that only men seem to have to do. I would accept that society is moving towards genuine equality, But women don't want those jobs at all, they only want the low effort, high paid jobs that `some' men do.
How often do we hear the bleat from women's groups that their partners don't do enough around the house, So they expect the bloke to go and do a days work outside the house, and when they get home, they then expect them to help with the house that `they' have been sitting on their a*ses in all day.
As others have rightly pointed out woman don't want equality, the want superiority.
Ironically both genders have achieved a form of equality, even though some such, as these protesters don't think that is good enough. If there was a such a severe imbalance in the `system' it would have fallen completely apart centuries ago. But it has not.
Good post.

My wife hates it when feminists try to tell her how to act. We are equals, but we have different roles. She does things that I think are silly -irons my socks is one example. I do things that she thinks are daft - making an already loud exhaust even louder.

Feminists would probably be outraged at the idea of a woman ironing her husband's socks. However, she actually does have a good reason. She likes to listen to the Sunday play on Radio 4. She doesn't like to "single task". Ironing socks allows her to keep her hands busy while she enjoys the play.

"Snowflake" is a new word used to describe sensetive lefties.

I'm afraid that you are going to have to get used to seeing it.

According to the article linked, Trump is pretty much the exact sort of person the word describes, so sounds like it's being overused on both sides.

You two should look up the difference between "that is correct" and "I agree with that". It's obviously outwith your comprehension right now, but you might be able to learn.

Maybe you could learn that correct is followed albeit silently with so far as we know/can prove or from my perspective.

It's not really anything Donal. I don't know who The Vambo is or what he thinks I'm digging so can't really answer.

I still think snowflake is an excruciatingly st insult, lacking in wit or imagination. I still think Trump represents its meaning beautifully. So on that score, it's going perfectly, I suppose.

I have to say that I think all these protests were completely the wrong thing at the wrong time and will just booster the current US government.

There's such a thing as "keeping your powder dry" for the right moment. Instead the powder was spent and all it ended up with was a big noise.

Wait till someone,to quote Madonna, fecks up when in power. Then make the big noise.

How much of a misogynist can you be ?
So women are going for the easy money and taking advantage of men ?
I bet you wouldn't have the b***s to tell it to a womans face.
