29th March, a day John Major already celebrates as being his birthday.

Poor John will have another celebration now, one he won't be quite so keen to get the champagne out for.

Apt user name.

Back on topic, this is just fannying around, grandstanding even, it would be kinder to do it and put them out of their misery.

After 3 and all together-

"Happy Brexit to you
Happy Brexit to you
Happy Brexit dear Jo-o-ohn,Happy Brexit to you"

One more time-

"Happy Brexit to you
Happy Brexit to you
Happy Brexit dear Jo-o-ohn,Happy Brexit to you"

John will be delighted with such a sweet ditty, we should get a cake with 12 candles that slowly extinguish one by one.

What's the odds on us still being in the EU on 30th March 2019?

Pretty good chance I'd have thought. The Eurozone is growing economically, Austria and the Netherlands have recently shown they reject the 2016 wave of right wing populism and Le Pen is likely to go the same way.

If we are to accept Eurozone economic growth (which we should), suggesting "populism" (another tag we can all use to dismiss a contra-opinion) has been rejected is not exactly true.

Support for "populism" still grew. Just not enough to make a material difference this time. A bit like the Eurozone economy wink

I'm a little surprised you're not all for "populism" actually...

More likely that facebook will run slowly with the weight of all those shouty statuses, pictures of facepainted SJWs crying a Euro star and anti democratic memes.

Populism.
Is that where a movement, group or idea gathers support because it is popular with the electorate AKA Democracy?

It's called democracy if it accords with out own world view, it's only populism if it's something we don't want.

See also 'far right' and 'far left', 'Hard' and 'Soft' Brexit etc.

Not to mention by which time the revolution will be in full swing here and comrade Corbyn will have won a glorious election victory to lead the people.

Hmm, interesting. Can I ask, if you look at a white sheet of A4 do your eyes see white, but your brain thinks black?

I can't help but think this will end badly for the UK. I hope I'm wrong but these negotiations will not be favourable at all for the UK.

The fire is slowly beginning to burn out for the blood thirty individuals here in the UK hoping for some sort of 'euro spring' that they thought they caused when brexit came out on top.
Realisation is slowly setting in that it wasn't enough, right wingers that looked like they may take over EU countries are slowly disappearing.
