No near Poulton some damage to property.
We went up to watch the Prem bond thing. When I was younger I lived near there and used to cycle 6-7 miles there and back to work. On the way back I new when I passed that building I only had another 15 minutes to go.
There used to be a big scrap yard next to it and when I got my first car I remember going there for parts.
Forgetting my manners too. Thank you for posting that Link its a very clear one. Must confess in the end we didn't go we stayed in and had a good catch up and big family breakfast. Last time we arranged to see the Layton Flats brought down. We waited around half an hour extra up on a supermarkets roof car park and it was rather disappointing.

Well here in Norfolk we got a right fking battering, worst I've seen since some woman phoned Michael Fish back in '87.

40,000 homes without power in Norfolk (us included earlier) and a lot of trees down.
I'd say, having lived where I do for 12 years, it's done more damage than any storm I can remember. I'm not sure whether it was all down to the magnitude of the gusts, or if blowing from the NW direction had something to do with it.

Me and the new dog had to take a bit of a diversion on our walk yesterday evening.

Only because we haven't had a decent blow for years, so all the trees that should've come down each year have been left up, and then we get a bit of a gust and boom, they all fall down.
