Sticky - I wasn't asking you anything - apart from perhaps requesting that you write in a coherent and legible manner so that we can try to work out what on earth you are saying.

Where were you on the day your teacher explained the basics of "subject, predicate and object"?

Quick fact check on Trump's claim about Jefferson. He wrote to an 18 year old aspiring journalist who asked him how a paper should be run.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Norvell

He was the co-founder of what is now the Philadelphia Inquirer. That paper posted an article today suggesting Trump might be lying about his academic record.

I didn't realise that Trump had an academic record.

[Laws ARE set in stone.... - until the stone is re-carved.

So, until that moment, the law needs to be obeyed. If the law is inappropriate or even downright wrong, then the law needs to be changed - using due process as set out in law - or in the case of the US - under the Constitution.

No President has the power to re-write the law as they see fit. They are as much a subject of the law and the Constitution as Joe the Plumber (remember him?).

The whole structure of your remaining text coupled with the quote from me indicates otherwise. You even talk to me directly at the end with a direct question.

If you go to a search engine, such as Google, you could type in the box "how do I write a sentence?" and it will hopefully provide some suggestions on putting words together so that other readers can understand what you are trying to say.
Do one you arse, blah blah : obviously clipped for speed.

But on the flip side, that's why so many here are still supporting him, hoping he delivers, because they have bought into this whole "he's different from the Washington elite" agenda and now they have to defend him to the bitter end irrespective of how stupid his decisions are or how ill thought out his policies... some are just trolls, others, like Trump, can't bear to be wrong so will defend and lash out accordingly.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of the people who voted for him if he fails to deliver real, tangible change...
I don't care what he screws up, I just like that he has shaken a stagnated, repetitive system to its core.

It was boring. Now it's not.

Well you have to admit, you have not seen this since JFK (admittedly the content is slightly different).

There's alleged to be an ancient Chinese insult - "May you live in interesting times."

Trump just said he disagrees with the courts "bigly", dear God. He has gone for the media and judiciary, now on to the dastardly immigrants, just the poor ones mind you, not the Saudi ones who could be terrorists.

what happens in 12 months time if he has created many more jobs and improved health care and reduced taxes.
He has been savaged by the press but it just seems to spur him on his skin must be as thick as a rhino's.
He is incredibly difficult to listen to he wanders all over the place but he has appealed to many many people in the US. I just wish people would stop with the childish insults its getting tiresome.

I would think if he creates many jobs, improves health care and is somehow able to reduce taxes in an effective way he will get due credit for that. It does seem rather unlikely, given his breathtaking incompetence so far, but it would be wonderful if he is able to fulfill some of his many proclamations of greatness to come.

In my view, he does not need the press to savage him, he does a superb job by himself of looking ridiculous, however, if a public figure is lying so often and so transparently, the media does have a duty to report on that. If he wants the heat to dissipate, he needs to alter his behaviour. If he does not want it reported that he told an obvious lie, he needs to stop telling obvious lies.

With regard to the ‘childish insults’ I suspect that if and when he starts acting like a president, that will calm down. Respect needs to be earned, and clearly for many people that has yet to happen in his case.

Not forgetting he was quick enough to dish out the insults to Obama (and many others). He went to town on the birth certificate.

Edit. Wonder when SNL latest offering hits the web.
