You seem to assume it is always a matter of choice.
Considering everyone is offered free lessons which teach you to speak the language, and this includes cultural lessons so that people understand customs and behaviour which may be normal to Swedes, and those who have chosen to integrate, but at first seem quite strange to those newly arrived.

So in many cases it perhaps is a matter of choice.

I think it's very ironic that Syrians are being bussed and resettled, apparently due to being a refugee.

While the Syrians were specifically bussing in Muslim protestors into Lebanon during the 1990s to pose as Lebanese protestors in order to further the Muslim cause post civil war.

Hundreds of thousands shia Muslims were illegally resettled from Syria and Iran to overpopulate the native Lebanese Christian population.

Lebanon now has been taken over and is a shadow of it's former "Switzerland of the middle East."

Not everybody who isn't "integrating" (whatever that really means) is failing to do so because they have an undying wish not to integrate,.

For a start, children can often be prevented to by their families.

And we know there are plenty of examples of members of immigrant families, such as wives and daughters being barred from mixing with other cultures.
Sounds great, open the doors even more,it makes for such a cohesive society.
Do you think that's what I'm advocating?

It's amazing how people read what they want into what others say.

Do you have a source for this? A quick Google suggests it's incorrect.

Really? Were they working out there?

You'd think there'd be something on a search.

In a similar vein, this one is probably best answered by Finlandia.

If I'm a Syrian who has been granted refugee status in Sweden, do I have a choice as to where to live, or am i shipped off to one of the areas of high concentration of refugees/immigrants?
If only genuine refugees had come to Sweden then there wouldn't be an issue.

You can either find your own place, usually means living with relatives/friends, or then you are appointed to a place.
Due to the absolute flooding of immigrants in late 2015, there is a huge housing problem, many were living in tents or in the rough outside or in sporting arenas for long periods.

Do not let in more people than you can take care of, the refugees are better off in a tent around the Mediterranean than in a tent in cold Sweden during the winter.

Also this was prior to the internet being available there, while the msm had relatively few people on the ground during the civil war. I have been told many times about these kinds of events over the years that was never on the news. They were cutting off Christians genitals and sending it to the parents long before 9/11.

I have been to Lebanon many times, I will no longer travel there as the government are run by Hezbollah. Every country that is "culturally enriched" turns to st.

Another kowtow to the GoP.
Some people still think he isnt a liar.

I reckon politicians are liars, it goes with the turf, so with that out of the way, the latest act to rescind Obama-era federal guidance involves putting the matter in the hands of each State, as such any State could continue as before.
He's socially liberal. He may pander a bit to some of Repub base, but no one is in danger.

That replacement immigration ban EO which Trump has been threatening to sign for a while now... it seems to be a bit longer in the gestation than was heralded. Wonder why.

Your perception doesn't seem to be borne out by demographics. And you can hardly claim the atrocities in the civil war were just one sided.

In the interests of "fairness" as I'm one usually saying don't take him literally, his comments on nuclear arms seem very misguided to me. If what you have can already destroy the world several times over, I'm not sure why being "top of the pack" matters.

I can't really see any positive angle on that one.

His skyscrapers don't have the number of floors that they claim to so hopefully some of the nuclear weapons won't exist either, perhaps he hasn't had the whole nuclear war thing explained clearly enough yet?
