Haven't watched CNN for ages but on Trump especially the BBC has ceased to be a news organisation and has simply been running a campaign against him.

Awkward questions and public scrutiny are one thing but it's hardly surprising that he would exclude them.

People can call the BBC "credible" all they like but it should be judged on its output and its output on Trump has been a joke.
And Trump's output has been?
Entertaining.
Hardly, Trump has acted as a coward towards the media to avoid any questions which might enrage him and make him froth at the mouth and retort with more crap like "fake news". He's not the bigger man who should be leading the USA and he has proved that he's a sensitive egocentric self absorbed baby who would cry at every criticism directed towards him.

If he was a true leader he would "entertain" the media from all outlets , let them ask all the questions they want, and fight it with them in a professional, calm, and collected way, not cry for mummy like a petulant child.

I was never keen on what Obama has done during his presidency, nor was I keen on Hillary's America, but by God they both look like Oscar winners compared to this paranoid clown.

You want the top job, it has caveats, be a man about it and deal with it head on instead of creating governance by exclusive clubs, members only. So immature!

I think you'll find the main tenet of Trump's presidency will be fear & paranoia. It's what the extreme right feed on.

What, you mean start building the wall on day 1, a ban on immigration from certain countries and defeating ISIS within 30 days? How are they going?

He's a pantomime villain for the left. The hyperbole is ridiculous.

Like it or not Trump is the President of the US. He is the news.

Holding him to account and asking difficult questions is part of the medias role, crusading against him because you disagree with his policies is also legitimate but he doesn't have to give them a platform to do so. Not even if some people believe the BBC is good.

pretty much

now they claim he won elections because his name was first on the ballot in key states, maybe those pesky russian hackers had to do something with it

The BBC is not really of concern to him, although Brits might get in a bit of a tizz about it. It's the large US news corporations that will be seething about his attitude and his actions - and he makes enemies of them at his peril.

Never knew about the thread in feedback, absolutely pathetic.
Agreed - not sure if that resulted in Strictlyfingered getting banned from this thread or something else was instrumental in it.

Agreed on the BBC but tbh I think Trump thrives on confrontation. He's had enemies all his life.

Being President of the US is not the same as running a corporation whatever he or others might think.
