Of course he used her a prop. A good bit of jingoistic fawning to help along the comical increase in military spending always helps.

His respect and 'honouring' of the parents of dead soldiers is circumstantial.

What were his comments when the dead American Muslim soldier's parents were used by the Democrats?

It's the cognitive dissonance that does it.

His hair looked different last night. Has he changed his hairspray?

You know, I'm aware this is going to sound like a piss take/band wagon jump, but the first thought I had when I looked at the photos of him this morning with Pence and Ryan in the background is that he has toned down the orange a fair bit.

Has he had ...

... a makeover?

I think the GOP have got claws into him and are handling him full on now.

Did you know that the FSB (the Russian Secret Service) refer to him as Agent Orange?

Correct. Trumpo has presented himself in a serious "presidential" manner; and SJW brains are conflicted. Doubling down commencing as evidenced in this thread. smile

Cognitive dissonance, triggered, SJW. A full joker's card. Be nice when you use them properly.

So now we move to phase 2. President Trump vs the GOP. The hijacker vs his hostages.

This has real potential.

Snowflakes must be doing their nut.

Trump is looking ever more presidential.

And the stockmarket is soaring to record highs, adding $3 trillion dollars in ~4 months.

If he has turned it around and is no longer a complete nut case then it can only be a good thing. I'm not going to complain about that.

There will probably be policies I disagree with, but that's pretty standard for politicians of all stripes.

May I suggest we try a consciousness -raising exercise? Not everyone who is concerned about Trump is what certain folks call a ‘snowflake’ or, for that matter, necessarily a Brexit voter. My oldest friend back in the UK, for example, voted for Brexit and has the same sort of concerns about Trump that I do. You can do better!

Anyone sane should be questioning $50bn+ more defence spending from the USA...

The Dow has just seen its fastest 1000-point run-up for the index in its entire history.

The index has risen ~17% in ~4 months... The average rise for the Dow in any 4-month preiod for the past 100 years is ~2%.

There is a huge "Trump bump" for the world's stockmarkets.

Trump has added trillions to global wealth since he became President.

Once you unpick the hype, it is only about $15-20b more than Obama planned. A relative rise barely above inflation.
