True.

So the Americans who voted for him really DID know they were voting for someone who was deluded?
There's a really good article in the March GQ by Michael Wolff that touches on this. Worth finding if you can.

Poor unrep; what started as a knowledgeable and amusing systematic destruction of every Republican candidate turned into an ikky love in for Hillary, especially when it became obvious he was actually attending the DNC conference despite not being able to vote. Throw in some epic trolling by our resident plastic redneck 5.0 and it all got a bit tragic.
Seems a bit unnecessarily stty. Especially all the digging up of old posts. I thought that was always a bit frowned upon in here?
Come come, give them a break. They've had nothing to celebrate since November.
Sorry I've said many times I wanted Clinton to win despite not liking her one bit. Trump is a liability and millions of his supporters are retarded but that really doesn't excuse Unrepentants poor form on the other thread abusing everyone who disagreed with him, demanding an apology from everyone when she won, then flouncing off. Twice. As for having nothing else to celebrate; sure if you say so... biggrin

FWIW I didn't flounce off. I was booted off the thread for calling the Preston cowboy a lying sack of st. Which he is. smile

It seems to me that you'll not last long here either......

I occasionally have strong views but you really have an inability to accept any other view that is alternative to your own.

So when you are proved horribly wrong you really do deserve all the piss taking that results

He's now had a go at Germany AFTER Merkel had gone home.

As well as being an idiot, he's also a coward.

His strategy seems to be - "America doesn't need allies - F**k 'em all".

Just admit you are wrong. This is getting ridiculous.
I'm always happy to admit I'm wrong - when I am wrong.
And you are wrong. smile

Your posting pattern makes me think you're in prison with limited access to the internet connection in the prison library.

Guess you must be looking forward to parole.

I suspect that there will either be a congressional inquiry or a special prosecutor to look into Flynn. It's clear he was acting for foreign governments at the same time as he was working with the campaign. They are looking into the whole Russia connection and I think there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.
I'll stick my neck out and say there will categorically NOT be any inquiries into Flynn. No matter how much noise there is. Trump has moved the narrative on. We're now on to wiretaps. And as soon as people try to pin Trump down on this issue he will create another distraction. His opponents are punching fog.

Let me put it another way - he ran on a platform of creating better relationships with Putin and the Russians and enough voters were happy with this for him to get elected. So why waste time and energy on trying to prove the Flynn/Russia relationship when the population doesn't care?
Flynn / Stone / Manafort / Bannon / Trump. They'll join all the dots eventually.
