Why is he still tweeting on his personal account? Surely he should be using @POTUS? I thought all POTUS tweets are then archived and stored.

The password was on HRC's mail server smile

I think Twitter ought to be beneath Heads of State. But then I'm just old and crusty. And can see the amusement value from all angles so long may it continue - if only to see people on here get a blood pressure rise smile

Well, he did. However this Russian thing and playing it down, this now seems to be the spin.

However, 360 million or so in the US, how many of voting age? googles away, 251 million? There was a 55% turnout. Hardly a landslide and one win where he quibbles over a few million and one that he has not shown how he will prove there was any illegal voting. Some of his compadres have been caught out here as well. Let it go, you won, who is in the Whitehouse? (Apart from Bannon).

I think that during this inquiry, all sorts of chaff and non stories will be fired off and watching it appear from the like of Brietbart etc. is interesting to see the way the spin is sent.

One loon website claiming Obama has been surveilling Trump for years.

The keys are jangling already.

I doubt much will happen today to be honest, but he certainly seems a bit touchy any time Russia is mentioned.

I look this AM and Schiff says there is still an investigation and is still ongoing.

He (Nunes) might be right, there is no collision. He might be wrong, but getting partisan before an enquiry is over, not really good.

Flynn's payments for example, they scream investigation. Even to clear his name of any wrong doing. And what rich Russians have poured into Trump is no ones business. Apparently....
It is nothing more than a political game of smoke and mirrors to delegitimize a sitting president. Podesta and HRC have both had direct dealings with the Russians, lobbying for them and selling them a sizable chunk of uranium, respectively.

Were anyone taking this seriously, this would be as egregious to the neoprog set as anything the current administration is merely rumored to have done.

On a broader scale, The Big Lie regarding Russian "aggression" toward the West will also continue to unravel the longer Trump is in office, as he is not pursuing neocon/lib policies of imperialism/expansionism.

Shortly after meeting with Trump, Merkel is already making statements about working with the Russians again.

I find it really weird that the party of Ronald Regan and Barry Goldwater and Dwight D Eisenhower is finding so much to love and respect about the Russians.

And as for walls, one of my favourite quotes from Reagan is, "Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall".

I cannot really see Trump as a Republican. To me, he is a form of parasite that has infected the mind of the Republican Party and is making it do some weird things - like the way some wasps breed by laying eggs in caterpillars, the grubs of which then take over the mind of the host.

Yes, this has been rather clear since the primaries.

What is he (apart from the obvious)?

I can see the Republicans getting him out at some point.

Congressional hearing right now is certainly interesting. Some tough questions up ahead for Trump.

James Comey about to speak.

Did Podesta & HRC hide those Russian links? And HRC didn't sell them uranium - she was one member of a committee who all agreed to sell it. Wasn't her sole decision, nor did she have a casting vote..

So Merkel publicly speaking about links with Russia? Very different to Trump & his team then.

Well, he is socially liberal, protectionist, and non-interventionist.

Qualities that in aggregate don't really place him into any definable category.

Thank you for confirming that it is all a ruse for rubes. As you were.

I can see the Trump presidency ending like the rule of Julius Ceasar - with Trump shouting "Infamy, Infamy - they all have it infamy".

And then turning to Paul Ryan and saying "Et tu Paul".

Interesting.

But unless something absolutely categorical comes out of it against Trump, he will teflon his way out of anything as usual I think. Some of his supporters are more like a cult than anything else - they simply dont have the mental capacity to see anything negative about him.
