Well, the definable alternatives were no better.

One would have forced the nuclear family on you and the other nuclear war.

With Trump we have avoided both, and we've been treated to the destruction of the Lügenpresse as we know it.

At present, I'm fine with watching this continue to play out.

Interesting.

But unless something absolutely categorical comes out of it against Trump, he will teflon his way out of anything as usual I think. Some of his supporters are more like a cult than anything else - they simply dont have the mental capacity to see anything negative about him.
It really hinges on if the republicans believe that they need to cut him loose [and presumably replace him with Pence]. They're not there yet so nothing is happening.

I find the fact they are more interested in the fact Flynn was caught as opposed to what he was caught doing is slightly disappointing, if expected.

I regressive chimp would have been better.

In fact, a regressive chimp could be installed even now - at least it wouldn't know how to use Twitter.

LOL @ "nuclear war".

What a ridiculous and unfounded assertion.

To think that just a few posts ago you had just come to the realization that Trump might not be a Repub. What insight.

The Russian conspiracy theory on its last legs. Too bad, so sad. hehe

I look this AM and Schiff says there is still an investigation and is still ongoing.

He (Nunes) might be right, there is no collision. He might be wrong, but getting partisan before an enquiry is over, not really good.

Flynn's payments for example, they scream investigation. Even to clear his name of any wrong doing. And what rich Russians have poured into Trump is no ones business. Apparently....
It is nothing more than a political game of smoke and mirrors to delegitimize a sitting president. Podesta and HRC have both had direct dealings with the Russians, lobbying for them and selling them a sizable chunk of uranium, respectively.

Were anyone taking this seriously, this would be as egregious to the neoprog set as anything the current administration is merely rumored to have done.

On a broader scale, The Big Lie regarding Russian "aggression" toward the West will also continue to unravel the longer Trump is in office, as he is not pursuing neocon/lib policies of imperialism/expansionism.

Shortly after meeting with Trump, Merkel is already making statements about working with the Russians again.
Did Podesta & HRC hide those Russian links? And HRC didn't sell them uranium - she was one member of a committee who all agreed to sell it. Wasn't her sole decision, nor did she have a casting vote..
Thank you for confirming that it is all a ruse for rubes. As you were.
So ignore the question and spout nonsense. Do you take over Trump's twitter for him when he's bored?

Does the Republican Party already know this or have they allowed themselves to be duped?

How long do you think they will go along with this charade before they know that they have to do something about him?

What is he (apart from the obvious)?

I can see the Republicans getting him out at some point.
Well, he is socially liberal, protectionist, and non-interventionist.

Qualities that in aggregate don't really place him into any definable category.
Socially liberal? Apart from the rights of women to abort unwanted foetuses.

If you shut 100 chimps in a room with smartphones, would they eventually produce the full works of Trump the Tweeter?

You confirmed my points.

Bonus points for the insult; a natural result of cognitive dissonance, of course. hehe

Comey confirms that the FBI is investigating links between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.

Comey and Rogers both confirm that there is no evidence whatsoever to support Trump's "wiretapping" allegations.

All the Republicans can do is try to make a thing of leaks to the press.

Glenn's take. Solid as usual.

Wonder if the pinnacle to this charade will be as good as the tax return fiasco?

Beause that was damn good. I thought Maddow was going to cry on air.

Trump made a lot of money. Trump paid the tax required of him.

As one of your fellow SJW millenial bloggers described it: the return was "a giant nothingburger."

Sorry for triggering you enough to write two posts.
