Seems increasing clear that to Trump fans it's absolutely irrelevant whether he colluded with the Russians to rig the election or not, whether he paid his taxes, whether he's a liar or whether his behaviour is making the US a laughing stock.

This is fantastic. The POTUS twitter account was actually tweeting at Comey whilst he was speaking to congress. At the same time they were trying to re-work what he said into a plus point for them.

As far as I can tell the only rigging of that election was by the Democrats, against Sanders, and it quite possibly handed the win to Trump. I imagine Putin's involvement has been mostly, like my own, pissing himself laughing from a distance! His approval rating is at 37%, the lowest for a new president in 70 years. Russia will be his downfall. Maybe not in a month or 6 or even 12 but it'll catch up to him. It's clear from Comey's comments and what he didn't say that there is a lot more to come. Hence all the attempted distractions. Eric Trump announces his wife is pregnant just as Comey is giving testimony. What a coincidence! Meanwhile the WH doubled down on its moronic claims that Obama wire tapped Trump to try and draw attention away from the real story.
