How can you spend 500k on security a day? Surely typo?
Go read up on how the motorcades work when he's travelling. It's baffling the amount of work that goes in to it.

Anybody know the answer to my question about Trumps Travels?

Can he be stopped from travelling to Florida every week at the taxpayers' expense?
Can't see how. I think he's entitled to protection by law and he can't really be confined to quarters. But I don't really know for sure.

More egregious is the paid for security his family gets - e.g. His sons, when travelling abroad to do Trump corp business.

Seems to be unraveling quite seriously now. Why he chose to pick a fight with not just his own intelligence services but seemingly those of other nations as well is very odd. Trying to invoke some Watergate level wire tapping scandal without any kind of evidence or basis in fact seems an incredibly strange thing to do and at best comes across as the rantings of a paranoid loon. It does appear that the establishment is now lining up to start sticking the knife in, he could of course apologies and correct his mistake but I doubt that's even an option for the man.

My principal question on that topic is whether Trump is charging the Government for accommodation at Mar a Lago and if so for whose? Secret service? Staff? Foreigners delegations? His own?

It looks like "draining the swamp" only happens at the weekend, and is probably viewed by the establishment as a small price to pay.

Trump's 'source' was the anti-Trump press (NYT, WP) and various tweets from high level political adversaries - they all stated before he was elected and just days ago that FISA applications had been made for wire-taps on Trumps camp.

Of course most have since been deleted or sneakily altered to change the emphasis.

They have also sneakily added specific detail - ordered directly by Obama, Trump himself in Trump towers - because they know that would never happen (and anyway the disconnected chain of command where Obama/Clinton's will was enacted with no trace was perfected.) So they can completely 'discredit' their version of the allegation, whilst ignoring and failing to admit if some wiretapping of Trump's camp did actually take place.

The security services revelations that they are investigating Russian links is no more than an admission that they are trying to discredit Trump.

Time magazine ran an article on the 'secret story' of how how the US meddled to get Yeltsin elected - perhaps there should now be an inquiry and heads should roll over that?

This is all desperate fluff, Trump isn't going anywhere.

Brexit has its remoaners delusional and desperately hanging on for an overthrow, and so does the Clinton/Obama cesspit camp.

Get over it, you've been Trumped!

Carry on like this and you'll get 8 years instead of just 4.

This is about as near to actual cognitive dissonance as we've seen on this thread, reframing the facts to suit your opinion.

the tax return fiasco?
Still waiting for your answers on that.

In your own time.
Trump made a lot of money. Trump paid the tax required of him.

As one of your fellow SJW millenial bloggers described it: the return was "a giant nothingburger."

Sorry for triggering you enough to write two posts.

Wow. I was expecting something weak, but not that weak. That's really weak.
Cognitive dissonance tell.

Meanwhile, the giant nothing burger remains a giant nothing burger. laugh

Did you actually see that 80% of his tax was under a law he promised to abolish?

You really see nothing wrong with that point?! If he does abolish the alternative tax, his rate will presumably be similar going forward which is 3.5%.

Beyond reproach.

One return from one year, twelve years ago, when he actually did pay a little bit of tax and he leaked it himself. Yes, it is of no value. On that the clown is right.

Yet another ludicrous post with zero substance from scherzeks.

Genuine question - do you think you're absolutely nailing it here, or do you realise that it's clear that you have nothing and are just scrabbling around like a dog on ice and just trying to make the best of it?

I saw CNN hype up a leaked tax return. I saw Maddow -- visibly shaking -- ramble on for a good 20 minutes about nothing, before being forced to reveal that contrary to HRC campaign allegations, Trump paid required federal income taxes, did not skirt AMT, and that the return contained nothing out of the ordinary. An epic own-goal.

Then, deliciously, salt was rubbed deep into the wound of low-info. SJWs everywhere, as they were briefly transported out of collective hallucination, to be informed that Trump made USD 150 million, and was indeed rich.

Good times.
