Looks like the appalling GOP healthcare bill will fail. Trump and Ryan's number one pledge.

So Trump, the self styled great negotiator, even when armed with a GOP congress can't get his bill through. What a loser.
I'd wait till after the vote if I was you wink

Don't want to be made to look silly laugh
What vote? laugh

Who looks silly now? laugh
Mr Trump laugh

I was a worried Unrep may have jumped the gun a little.

Trump blaming Democrats for not voting, no mention of the GOP who didn't support it.

That puts a trillion dollar hole in the tax reform policy now too.

7 years to plan. All 3 parts of the government nicely in hand.

Yet utter failure on their key issue.

Yeah who knew it could be so hard?

I'd see that element as far more worrying than the figurehead in charge.

I wonder whether the GOP will be able to agree on anything despite being out of power so long. I could see the same thing happening if Labour were ever voted in here.

How *did* the Democrats feck up that election?

It oozes out of every post you make on this thread chaps. There is zero objectivity or balance. None whatsoever. And your tone towards those with a counter opinion is hardly constructive.

Your call of course. You are free to express whatever opinions you want in whatever way you want. But don't be surprised when mass decisions like have happened over the last year happen. And try not to be dismissive of them. Understanding the root of them is important. Congratulating those with identical viewpoints only has so much use wink
Where does one start.

The "balance" that was provided by the Trump supporters here was lost partly because they couldn't have a decent debate without getting all shouty and obscene, so were banned. Which is a shame because a couple of them were great comedic value.

But more importantly, until the man we are debating starts showing some balance himself, he deserves all the criticism he gets. If that leads to the hard of thinking to go out and vote for people like him, so be it. That should not be a bar to challenging what is becoming a farce.

I completely understand the root cause of these "abnormal" type election and referendum results. It boils down to a fundamental disenchantment with "normal" politics and "normal" politicians.

The problem is that the alternatives are SO much more worse.

As Winston Churchill once said, "Democracy is the worst sort of politics - except for all the alternatives".

People need to be more historically aware.

Trump reported to be "fuming" because his two most trusted advisors, Ivanka and Jared, spent the week on the slopes in Aspen while the bungling bigot struggled to get his healthcare bill passed.

Did he not manage to get his game of golf in? It's the Democrats' fault it didn't get through isn't it? Or is the HOR Republican?

So no healthcare reform, no EO keeping Muslims out. Now, what's happening with that wall?
