Plus the fact that it's hard to explain or justify some of trumps behaviour.
I don't think any of his behaviour can be "justified" but it can all be explained if you look at it from Trump's past behaviour.

As i said previously i think the man is a sac of congealed cockcheese, however throughout his business and political life

1. He has behaved in a certain (arguably vile and despicable) way
2. He has "won" [by "win" I mean garner wholescale adulation and worship]
3. Why should he change?

For him, a successful term as POTUS won't be defined by the number of jobs created, or improvements in living standards. or America consolidating it's postion as World Leader. It will be defined by the number of people he can convince that HUGE NUMBER OF JOBS have bene created, and that we have GREAT HEALTHCARE, GREAT, THE BEST! etc etc

Do you remember the campaign? Everything, absolutely everything was a COMPLETE DISASTER. Jobs, the economy, immigration, foreign policy, WORST EVER!!!

Now any sane person with a Casio FX82 could have proven that it was all bulst, but it worked!! And the exact same rhetoric will work throughout his tenure.
And he can't lose in the eyes of the only people whose opinion of him that matter, his rabid supporters. Any 'failure' will be because of the 'establishment' any proof of wrong doing will be a 'stitch up' by the establishment. If the walls not built its not his fault.
in their eyes he can do no wrong so its win win for him. They are his kind of people and he plays them like a flute.

Charlatans and fraudsters can operate for a long time - but they can't operate forever.

Thank you for conceding.
You are well beyond the limits of measurable human stupidity.

Truly, you're the personification of the Dunning Kruger effect (wiki: a cognitive bias in which low-ability individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability as much higher than it really is).
Full on insults now.

A Mr T Blair seems to be going strong...not to mention his sidekick A Campbell.

I don't really understand your point.

I was referring to a fraudster and a charlatan holding public office - specifically President of the US.

Both of the above gentlemen no longer hold public office.

Spot on. Plenty of examples where so long as your rabid support is deluded enough you can get away with literally anything because it will always be someone else fault when you promote a persecution complex... See religions of all faiths..

I am trying to think of something which I am a fan of that I defend to the hilt and it is Coldplay and Chris Martin. That is the only thing where I won't have a bad word said about them and what they do.
I get why people are like they are but it is pointless trying to change their minds. No one will ever convince me Coldplay aren't amazing and everything they do is fantastic.... but having seen them live several times from the start till now..it's the closest I have to a religion..

Well a President can only hold office for 8 years anyway, so it will come to an end at some point. Your statement says that charlatans and fraudsters can't operate forever. I just pointed out two examples that are seeing to be doing very well out of things, while conforming to both of your points.

What is your opinion on Mike Flynn? Do you think he's done something which means he requires immunity?
He's had conversations by phone (monitored and leaked) which were likely not appropriate for him to have prior to be taking office, but that doesn't seem to be an indictable action. Which makes me think that the immunity he seeks could be for something unrelated to the FBI investigation he's apparently going to testify upon. Or, this could be more games sending the conversation off to this exact analysis.

Thanks.

I'd agree his conversations may not have been appropriate, but doubt they'd have been a major issue had he not 'forgotten' then and failed to mention them when asked.
The immunity request is an odd one - whether he's being used to test the waters so they know if bigger fish might get immunity too is a thought which occurred to me earlier today.

You're making his point fairly well there for him. It's not crossed your mind for a second that he's being serious, and that it's a fitting description of you, because you're so convinced that you're so much more intelligent than that. It's not an insult, it's a piece of commentary based on how you present yourself here.
It would be no fun if you (and he) weren't serious.

Now, back to trying to determine if I am a Putinbot in direct contact with Dark Lord Bannon and Agent Stein.

In the past, he's operated as the leader, boss, jury, and executioner. What he says goes. That's very different to being the POTUS, where he has to use EI to influence people and has to give something at times. He's not used to that, and it shows, and it doesn't look like he's able to flex his style enough at this juncture.

I also think you probably underestimate his core support. I think the core, very loyal support, is relatively low. I suspect a lot of people voted for him because they wanted change and because the opposition candidate was not liked. Over time, a lot of those not so loyal supporters are going to become disillusioned, and understand that Trump can't deliver what they hoped for. His really core support may well hang on, but I don't think that's going to be a large number of people.

But they (or blair at least) were not specifically voted-out by the electorate, and likewise, the last three presidents each completed their two-term limits.
Campbell was never voted in in the first place. So, he could never have been voted out.

Blair voted himself out - as his credibility was shot - and he knew it.

Trump will probably go in a similar way. In a democracy, the power of public opinion doesn't work purely on votes.

I agree with eventually, but how long did Bernie Madoff manage to walk on water before he was sunk.
