what happens in 12 months time if he has created many more jobs and improved health care and reduced taxes.
He has been savaged by the press but it just seems to spur him on his skin must be as thick as a rhino's.
He is incredibly difficult to listen to he wanders all over the place but he has appealed to many many people in the US. I just wish people would stop with the childish insults its getting tiresome.
Obviously you're observing a completely different Trump to the rest of the planet if you think he has a thick skin. His press conference meltdown, his petulant twitter nonsense, his total shambles of an administration which even republicans think is in disarray, all shows he's a disaster. The childish insults all seem to emanate from him, in case you hadn't noticed.

address to my statement

The whole structure of your remaining text coupled with the quote from me indicates otherwise. You even talk to me directly at the end with a direct question.
Don't be so conceited. It was a general rhetoric question not aimed specifically at you.

The man is an embarrassment.
It does come across as rather desperate from Trump to go and have his ego bolstered with a campaign style rally in this way. It has been a very difficult month for him, certainly, but this seems very insecure, even by his standards, and one might reasonably think he would have better things to do.

Because I was addressing your point - but it was a general response.

Anyway, too many of your posts are about yourself and how people are reacting to you. You seem almost as insecure and thin skinned as The Donald.

I think your post has been adequately addressed, but I'd like to add that as far as his skin goes, it's massively fragile. Someone who has his personality grows with pats on the back and with the ability to do what he wants to do. Without that he's totally lame in his own mind. That's how it's panning out.

How long are you going to give him to deliver? In a year's time you could say the same thing. Jam tomorrow, or never never land?

Your debating style does nothing for you or your intellect.

If you are a typical Trump supporter, it can possibly explain why he won.

But on the flip side, that's why so many here are still supporting him, hoping he delivers, because they have bought into this whole "he's different from the Washington elite" agenda and now they have to defend him to the bitter end irrespective of how stupid his decisions are or how ill thought out his policies... some are just trolls, others, like Trump, can't bear to be wrong so will defend and lash out accordingly.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of the people who voted for him if he fails to deliver real, tangible change...
I don't care what he screws up, I just like that he has shaken a stagnated, repetitive system to its core.

It was boring. Now it's not.
No, I'm sure the vulnerable who are reliant on economic growth and social security are enjoying the ride too... I'm sure if you're white, wealthy, live in a gated community and have a few assets, you're fine.

At this ego boost in Florida, he once again said he will defeat ISIS and reform obamacare, still no plan though, not even an outline or the faintest indication of how it will actually work... when will his sheep start calling him out on this? 1 month, 1 year, 1 term?

Jesus Christ, is there anybody you've not argued with on PH Sticky? Seriously, stop taking everything so personally. We all have different views and its gets a bit heated, but there's no need for constant meltdown.

Throw st, get it thrown back, it is quite simple.
Even when you want to close the conversation you attempt to leave it with one last attempt to insult with the intellect jibe.

Sorry but I will challenge back when people start with the "insults" thing.... no "meltdown" here, it would spoil my boiled egg and toast smile

Nice to be considered an intellectual. I'll take that as a compliment - although in your world it probably isn't.

You need to learn to debate the subject - not insult the debater.

Anyone else think it is odd that Trump holds a campaign rally well after the campaign is over?

What was the point of that thing in Florida other than to whip up the masses?

Ivanka probably had a stall with some perfume and clothes to flog outside.

Nothing to do with whipping up the masses.

What it was is a child seeking the comfort blanket of approval by his friends. As he said in his speech, he wanted to be with "his people".

When a leader starts talking about "my people", I get very worried.

That does raise the question

If you and your family have *successful* business interests, just how can you run these and not get flak/attacks if one of your family becomes a politician ?

Is it possible ?
Is it "wanted" by the voters to have (not Trump) anybody who has been successful/is currently elected to office ?

At last, a decent question.

Politicians will, of course, have other family members who have business interests of their won. Nothing wrong or unusual about that.

What DOES need to be heeded and avoided is the politician or his promoters using their position of power to push, advocate or promote the business interests of the politician's family members.

That is where the Trump Team has overstepped the mark on occasion.

Odd for any other leader of a country, but I can understand Trump doing it. Not sure when it was organised, but it plays to his ego to be surrounded by supporters rather than reporters. The bigger question is does anybody actually understand what he says?

As an example, other than his usual rhetoric, he talked about negotiating a lower cost for the F-35, for Japan? How does that help a U.S. Multinational and the U.S. Itself? Maybe I'm missing something.
