BLAIR, his latest intervention. Should he shut up ?

He claims that the Brexit voters did so ignorant of the damage that it would cause. A bit rich when the Labour voters in 1997 voted for Blair ignorant of the damage HE would do! And yes, they did vote for Blair rather than Labour. It was the start of the cult of personality in UK politics.
He must be feeling ignored to spout tripe like this, particularly with his euro top job ambitions in tatters. Eurobods are now acknowledging we'll be better off.
The so-called damage (end of western political civilisation, sky falling in, instant £30bn austerity budget consisting of tax rises and spending cuts, house price falls, more expensive mortgages etc) didn't happen when the result was announced, the fictitious armageddon list simply identified Cameron of Blue Labour as a tricksy toad of the highest magnitude just like Blair.

He seems to be saying there isn't ever a settled will of the people as the mood is always changing. I think he's saying we shouldn't leave the EU and the settled will should be what he thinks. tt.

If Theresa May needed anything to help her secure Brexit it would be tough to top an 'intervention' by Tony Blair. Like many self-serving egotists in politics he is totally unaware of the widespread hatred he generates in the UK. Confused as to what the hell he thinks he is going to achieve by this.
He is PH's own Margaret Thatcher. This is the person who gave away billions of UK tax payers cash (for absolutely nothing) in the hope it would give him a shoo in to the EU presidents job.
The person who invited millions to come to the UK with promises of free housing, benefits, and health care, in the hope it would increase voter numbers for labour.
The person responsible for the deaths of many in the UK`s military on the strength of a lie, in the hope it would boost his popularity, in the same way Thatchers Falklands conflict bolstered her position.
Blair should be standing up in front of the UK`s people, but not at a microphone, but in front of a white wall, with a blindfold on, for crimes against the UK.
The only positive thing is that everyone with more than a few brain cells knows that Blair is a liar (hence the appropriate modification of his name to Bliar) so if Blair is advocating people rise up against Brexit, those of sound mind, and with a half decent memory can be absolutely positive that doing the exact opposite of what he says, is the correct path to take.

No, he should not shut up. Every time he opens his mouth, he will strengthen May's hand. I suspect the widespread hate he generates will also lead some remain voters to question whether they made the correct choice.
I know people like the right vs left and Blair vs May story but It's not really Blair vs May, neither wanted to leave. I wanted to leave but we have to accept that pretty much anyone with any power is against it and we only have a slim majority amongst the settled will of he people. It's not really much of a mandate for revolution against the establishment and elites.
Blair, although deeply unpopular, will still have many people agreeing with the sentiment of his speech.
