Hi all, I am renting a car to drive from Glasgow to Fort William for a few days hiking up Ben Nevis at the weekend, in the snow. I was thinking it would be fun to rent a Jag F Type, so I can go for a spin round the Queen Liz Forest Park, but I don't want to literally, go for a spin...Can any Scottish PHers advise what the road conditions are like? Weather forecasts suggest wet roads at ground level, above freezing for most of the time, below for some.

Am I going to kill myself driving a Jag around Scotland in Feb, should I get something boring?

All roads are open and no snow or frost forecast.

Hope you have all the appropriate equipment for venturing up Ben Nevis in the winter.

Was up on the west coast a few days ago. There is almost no snow or ice and it is very warm. More like Autumn or full Spring.
