Good architect and builder in Bristol / SW
Discussion
Hi All,
Looking to have a 2 storey side extension with loft room in new structure added to a small-medium sized 1930s house, total size for 3 rooms is around 50sqm.
We're really struggling to find an architect who is any good or a builder who doesn't make prices up as they go along (had estimates of 4K PM!).
Architects seem almost as bad, have had quotes of £7-10k for drawings submitted for approval - crazy prices....
If anyone knows of a decent architect and builder, I'd be v interested in knowing,
Cheers

We're using David Free

He's been very good, reasonable prices and we're pleased. Currently going through planning right now for a two storey extension

I would always use Hilary Lawson for something that size, based in Exeter but happy to work in Bristol
