I wanna do a mini road trip this year.

I'm thinking South of France probably camping.

Just wondering if anyone knows some cheap places that are half decent and also the best route to take for a scenic drive.

I don't mind stopping overnight.

The in laws (inc sister in law and son) may want to fly down and join us which means school holidays which seems to shoot prices up but I want to go regardless.

As said would love a scenic route but am aware France does not like spirited driving!

If you're going to the South of France, google Route Napoleon.

Good luck.

Some amazing roads on the way down

Here's a link to my old Euro trip a few years ago.

If you don't have that much time then at least aim to stay the night in Grenoble and them take a day to get to Cannes / Monaco via the Route Napoleon as suggested.
