Wish they'd make up their minds.

Fruit and veg: For a longer life eat 10-a-day

Love these reports - mayhelp you live longer, could prevent deaths. Not that sure of their findings are they.

I like that it will reduce cancer by 23% or whatever. Carry on smoking but eat more veg, awesome!

More of the bleedy obvious? Eat the typical stty UK diet, and you'll look like a typical Brit, pasty skin, fat, poor shape. Eat healthier and you'll be healthy. biggrin

This is nothing new, a lot of countries advise eating 10 or more pieces of fruit and veg a day, I believe Canada advises 15. The government here knows how difficult that message would be to sell so sticks to the 5 a day advice which most people struggle to manage anyway.

It's no surprise that the food that's best for us is the food we evolved to eat. Perhaps not what people want to hear though.
