Whilst I'm sure that "selfie" videos of a disaster can be immensely useful to the authorities I'm really not sure my first thought when evacuating a plane after any kind of emergency landing would be "must.. film.. this.. for.. Twitter"

I use FlyBe regularly to go to our offices in Amsterdam. Hopefully they will check the rest of those planes ..

Amazing coverage of the event in HD all over the internet, Great if you do a good job and horrendous if you do a bad one,

I diverted to somewhere different recently and did a fantastic landing (unusual for me). Next day it was on YouTube with people banging on about how rubbish it was. bds.

I even went into the terminal to keep passengers updated on a delay recently and that's on YouTube too. Oh how my colleagues laughed.

From the video on pprune, the gear was down but collapsed after landing. Maybe not locked?

I was there yesterday and seen it out of the window of my plane! Worst wind I've ever seen at an airport before, was a bit scary
