DB9 GSM Phone

how do i know if i have the GSM phone function on my 2006 DB9

console has all the buttons and there is a sim holder on the dashboard and phone buttons on steering wheel - i have put in a sim card but don't seem to be able to get it working

can anyone help me (also just found out how crap the microphone is - using bluetooth i can hear everyone crystal clear but all the seem to say is "pardon" "can you day that again" "I can't hear you"

A phone call / email to your dealer will tell you, as it will be on the original spec sheet if it was originally fitted, but it sounds as if you have the slot on the waterfall that it has the option.

If you have a warranty then let the dealer sort it out.

There is a factory 'fix' for the microphone. It involves installing another microphone in the headlining around the top right of the sun shield. Original owners who complained got the fitment for free.

Can't remember if the bluetooth was instead of the GSM phone or as well as. Had bluetooth and the SIM slot on mine but never tried it, as the bluetooth worked for phone calls - had the additional microphone.
