Looks like the Haymarket chief overlord has been given the boot from another companies directorship over his Pro-EU rebellion in the lords....

After another humiliating defeat in the Lords we now see what wounded animal, Theresa May is capable of.

She's not quite the listening sort is she?

Its not TM that is wounded. The Lords just shot it self in the foot. In MH case, both feet.

More reason to sign the petition. Now 116,000
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/170686

This must be the first ever petition to reach 100,000 signatures and not receive any mention on the news or in the papers.

I lie, seems just the Express mentioned it when it reached the ton.
What about the rest? Not a whisper. How very bloody EU of them.
Spread it for more to sign - deadline is 2 May. Could be quite a number by that date.

Poor old JawKnee, still holding out hope.

Some 'defeats' can actually make leaders stronger, especially if the leader is on the side of the majority of public opinion and her opponents are seen as out of touch malicious wreckers.

All that the Lords and Gina whatsherface are doing is proving that they are undemocratic and dishonest, that they are not interested in fairness and due process, as they claim, but only in trying to prevent the inevitable.

Just like Blair, Tarzan can't get it through his thick head that we voted out partly because of his attitude.

Jacking that attitude up a notch is a spectacular own goal.

Some of the comments to the story are a bit raw. ..hehe

but its great to get his view of a parallel universe where Jezza is King.
The Lords has been seen for what it is now and reform has to follow .

He walked out away from his Ministerial job, couldn't get his own way regarding Bristol Helecopters iirc.
