found this game by chance and bought it off steam

its quite a good manager sim for what it is. f1, f2 and f3 though there is dlc for gt series too

apparently the makers are working on allowing mods which should allow official names and liveries to be designed

Just picked it up and started a career...chose the lowest team as I like a challenge.

I played the iPad version to death and this looks just as addictive, good for breaks between vr racing sessions.

Will make a start on the challenges once I've got the hang of it.

Well 6:30 this morning I turned the Pc off hehe

Did a complete season, and 3 races into my second, and it's going downhill. Picked the top team in the European series with the two best drivers, and both of them retired at the end of the season.

On sale with Steam (£6.24) if anyone's interested.

Wasn't sure at first, but once you get into it it's quite addictive.

Have played a few seasons on it. It's all fun until your strategy fails on the last lap laughlaugh

I really enjoy it as a management simulator.

I haven't played it on the PC, I played it on the mobile though when it first came out.

I will have to give it a go on the PC, but it'll have to be amazing to beat my personal favourites of Grand Prix Manager and Grand Prix World.

Started off with the tutorial running the Scuderia Rossini team (basically Ferrari) and making a bit of a hash of it. Ended up with one of my drivers getting lapped by everyone in a 17 lap race after bringing them into the pits 4 times hehe And then the next race both finished outside the top 10 again, so rather than wait to get sacked decided to restart, and set up my own team. So ZS Racing was born, and managed to get 1st and 4th in practice at the first race of the season biggrin

followed by last/2nd to last in qualifying, then 17th/19th finish in the race

don't forget to build 1x mega powerful risky part for each component towards the end of the season, it will transfer the ACTUAL performance, not potential, when it gets homologated next season, and gives you 1x better car off the bat.

This i didn't know, thanks for the tip. I've won by strategy usually, but now in top 10 usually for qualifying and higher a lot of the time

I tend to get reliability good at the start of the season but will make some risky parts, trying to get the infrastructure in place currently at HQ and staff and not risked parts much

Infrastructure is a massive black hole!

Level 2 factory and design centre, level 1 everything else.

Also engines are key to winning any championship where they aren't spec.

Looks like there is a multiplayer mod, so if enough of us wanted we could do our own season/s.

I haven't gone much beyond that on infrastructure so far, but still haven't got all the builds but i am not putting in ones that only apply to shared parts

I think the built parts for me are suspension, brakes and gearbox from memory and i am building a brake facility currently

Got a better designer than i start with, decentish driver on one but low stats on the other that doesn't seem to make a huge difference from what i have seen

Struggling to get to grips with qualifying at the moment. My custom team (worst on the grid) managed 6th and 12th in practice (and were only 1/4s off fastest time), yet in qualifying came 19th/20th more than 2 seconds off the pace?

It's taken me a few seasons to get into the top 10-15, i got a good driver rated for setup and that i think has helped me out

Yes, but I think it was only on sale over the weekend, now back at full price.
