Lets agree to disagree. London is hugely diverse with many people of different backgrounds, ethnicities and experiences. Lumping them as one and the same is shortsighted.
My point was when I said ".........the insular and blinkered views of Londoners. " was not that London is not diverse, but that many Brits living long term in London struggle to see a world outside of their own.
Many have seriously insular and blinkered views, and when they are arguing the case they are arguing not considering that they are actually only a small percentage of the UK.

Spare a thought for us in London who voted leave. We have to accept that our views are hugely unpopular with the idiotic remain army. Its made dating a nightmare. They can't handle it when you destroy the EU with logic and facts.
Well boo fking hoo - who cares? Stop trying to convert everyone you meet even though you got your way regardless!

Maybe find a nice girl that voted remain. 17 million, there must be at least one.

Or move to a part of the country you won't get liberal on you.....I hear they don't make water hot enough to get that st off!
Where did I ever say I was trying to convert them? I said it's impossible to discuss. See the difference? I didn't lump you into any imaginary pot of people. I was in fact talking quite specifically about single females in London. Read, comprehend, reply. Calm your tits

My point is, many from London simply don't get the wants and needs of those living outside of London, their views are incredibly insular.

You then said...

Which is exactly what I was getting at.

It was in reply to you saying....

I wasn't saying that London is insular in that it is not diverse, of course it is diverse, one of the most diverse cities on the planet, and I wasn't lumping all those people into one pot, I was however lumping the London leave voters into one pot saying they simply can't seem to see that maybe people elsewhere have different wants and needs and their wants and needs are just as important as yours.

Right, then...when London is independent, which ethnic minority will be first to achieve overall majority status?

I don't think anyone could answer the question.... It's about the same as asking how long is a bit of string....

No it's not. There must be birth records and trends. Any small group, breeding like rabbits, should be able to take over in a jiffy. Islamic State of London, anyone...? hehe

I'm amazed it took this long for someone to drag Islamophobia into an otherwise entertaining thread.

No one is keeping you here mate. If you like Cymru-Anglia so much why don't you go and live there?
Equally, why don't you fk off to Europe somewhere if the EU is so good?
I already live in the EU thanks and have done my whole life.

No you don't, it's not possible. The EU isn't a place, it's a misguided socio-economic ideology.

You're really not very bright, are you?

So much comedy gold on this thread. Obvious trolling is obvious.
Worthy of a spell on the naughty step.

Yes, that. Because that's the reason nobody is interested, he's an obvious Tory. Better to hide that.

Back to the thread. Assuming that it was London which seceded from the UK (rather than vv), who would they have as Head of State - and would they want/be admitted to the Commonwealth ? More importantly, would they meet the criteria for admission to the Euro, which presumably they would crave ? And as alluded to earlier, would the EU want London as a member ? Bureau de Change at Heston services ?
