It is the increasing numbers that do not think the same/similar that are the problem, those both from without and within.
I'm sure that would make a lot more sense in English.
Do one: you understood perfectly well

Stop being your usual small man obnoxious self. What you typed makes no sense to me. Genuinely.

One thing these type of threads highlight is that there are a lot more idiots on the PH forums than a few years ago.

That one photo of the girl walking by on her phone doesn't tell you anything other than what you want to assume.

How about this person callously walking by?

seems not

This girl that's getting a lot of unwarranted abuse could be on the phone texting her family to tell them she's safe. Who knows what she's just seen and how you would react.
They're standing, not walking.

Although in the second picture they could be having a rummage through the person's pockets for their wallet/phone.

A JustGiving Page has been set up for the family of PC Keith Palmer.
https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/keith-palm...
It's already surpassed it's target but maybe a few of you will want to pay your respects in this manner, nobody should lose their life doing their job and I am pleased to donate.

Sorry - I didn't mean that to come across as a rant. Was just about to go into the gym so typing on my phone!

Definitely not anti-western. Perhaps I'm picking you up wrongly but to me, integrated Muslims are already anti-terrorism and have nothing to do with this. As such, hearing them distance themselves from it carries the same sort of weight as the say the Jewish community distancing themselves from it (to me).

If actual radical Islam started to build bridges then I guess it might mean something to me, but they obviously won't. It just feels a bit like expecting the people who are already on your team to prove they're on your team. And you'd only do that if you thought they weren't really. And if they weren't really, they wouldn't do it...so you end up in a big circle.

Not having a go at you - I just don't see the point smile
That's alright, i'm a big boy, appreciate the explanation.

I really can't be arsed to go into any further to be honest, won't be long till the thread gets locked probably.

'People like me' would be people that live in a Muslim country. Who find it to be the safest and most peaceful place they have had the good fortune to live and are surrounded by people who follow the Muslim faith each and every day.
A less threatening place would be hard to imagine- even for the terminally hard of thinking.
A few brainwashed zealots will never suddenly cause terror attacks to 'become the norm'.
Not that great if you were gay though and afraid of heights?

This is great, but what about the other victims? They have families too.

Why does every single one of these threads degenerate into pages of irrelevent arguments and namecalling.

I would not be surprised if they share it out or help the other families, helping each other is what makes this country great.

I see a lot of people criticizing this young lady for just walking past, and a lot of people saying it is due to her possible religion, but I am a white, middle aged, male, atheist, and would be doing exactly the same as her.

Why? There are lots of people already helping the victims, blood makes me faint, no point hanging around and adding myself to the list of people who need help from already overstretched emergency services. I would be better off out of the area if I had no information to help the police. And I would also be trying to contact my wife to let her know I was safe. So I would look and act exactly as she has, but would I get abuse due to my ethnicity? I would be willing to bet thousands of pounds the answer is no.

Leave her alone, imagine how the poor girl feels with the abuse she is getting online, when she was obviously upset after witnessing the aftermath of yesterday. She needs help, not abuse.
I'm like you cjs, the sight of blood makes me faint, at times it's bloody annoying (pun not intended).

Few months ago I witnessed a young lad getting knocked of his bike by a young woman driving a BMW Mini - she hit him head on and he flew over the bonnet - she stopped and I stopped, no one else did. While making sure he was OK on the pavement not one other person stopped they just walked by.

This wasn't in a big city but in a small Yorkshire market town it shocked me that people didn't stop.

.............

RIP to those who lost their lives and my thought are with their families.

I was really, really hoping that they would not give out the terrorist name. I was hoping the British Police and Government had reached a turning point whereby not giving out his name would steel away his so called Martyrdom would be in tatters.
Sadly the media will continue to milk this now frown
