In terms of religions, yes there is violence shown by all of them, in terms of a follower or two from time to time, but how does that address what we faced in London and what other countries have faced from France to Tunisia and beyond?
When looking at the present situation globally, after reading your post I reflected on how many terrorist atrocities against the public have been committed by, say, tiny but radicalised % numbers of Sikhs or Buddhists in e.g. the past ten years or so.
France is a different situation due to them colonising North Africa. They have had terrorist attacks for decades, but were previously described as separatist attacks. I'm not sure what you mean by "faced in London" though. It was one man who acted alone. What he did was disgraceful and inexcusable, but it's not an every day occurrence and using your 10 year reference point, then it's the only attack that's happened in that time. The Buddhists in Myanmar (Burma) are a disgrace and violent nutters. They just tend not to attack the West, so it's largely ignored over here. No idea about Sikhs, but there are lots of other religions that you've not mentioned.

200 civilians killed by US by air strike over the weekend.
I wonder if anyone will be demanding Christians apologise in public?

In a war, in a battle for a populated city......not great but it will happen in war. War is ste for everybody. IF the US had targeted a school in Malaysia for example you may of had a point.200 civilians killed by US by air strike over the weekend.

As an attempt to compare to a terrorist act that is weak.

What do you think it looks like to the civilians on the ground who just saw a missile drop on them or their neighbours and families apparently indiscriminately? 'Oh it's a war that's fine'.

No not really. Do you have an idea for an alternative strategy other than air strikes? (Sadly there will inevitably be civilian casualties with air strikes).Anyway back on topic - 200 dead is hardly doing the west any favours is it.

And apparently our smart bombs just hit things 'over there somewhere'.

Strategy? Strategy for what exactly?
To defeat ISIS. What would be your idea to defeat them?p1stonhead said:
Exactly. It's not like ISIS have a headquarters.

Would you be able to answer my question? It is quite easy to criticise an action, and I'd be interested to hear what you would suggest doing instead. And apparently our smart bombs just hit things 'over there somewhere'.

But for starters I would say perhaps sort the aiming out!
'Sadly there will always be civilian casualties' is possibly the problem no?
Do you really think that to everyone on the ground they see us as trying to save them? Or do some see us as very advanced terorrists who strike out of the sky with bombs?

Ask the innocent people who die as a result of both these and I doubt you'll find many saying "please can we get bombed by the "noble cause", rather than radical Muslims". As an attempt to compare to a terrorist act that is weak.
It's part of the reason for the raisin d'être of the likes of ISIS.
