I've got less respect for the MP on the news in the immediate aftermath who used it as a platform to pass comment on the officers investigating MPs who fiddle their expenses, suggesting that they'd be better deployed reviewing Westminster security.
Which asshole MP did that? There was also some labour female MP saying how she was told to stay inside by security but overruled them and pushed her way outside because "she didn't know what was going on".

Spare a thought for the Christian communities within the UK. They're feeling incredibly anxious at the moment.zygalski said:

I'm pretty right of centre, but the issue isn't just confined to Islam as last night showed.

How come the attacker hasn't been named yet? Surely the authorities must have an idea?

Calm. Down.Democracy and the rule of law did not stop the internment of "enemy" civilians during WW2 and our current policy of "ooman rights" before everything else, including security, will not survive constant attacks of this nature.
We need a rethink in many areas, most particularly in immigration policy, and the Human Rights act stands in the way of many sensible measures. It is the people, not lawyers, who should be sovereign and if the law stands in the way of our peace and prosperity then the law should be changed.

This has taken so long, last night at the end of Newsnight it was mentioned the vehicle used was hired on the 21st in Birmingham, needless to say there must be an instant paper trail.Vaud said:

I hope the Commons is packed to the rafters today. The MP's need to do their bit and put on a show of defiance. Anyone missing should be made to explain why.
No, they should carry on as normal and as planned... no changes for the terrorists. Will be interesting to see the numbers compared to the usual poor attendance.

Perhaps offer up your services to the police and MI5 etc. One can only wonder why they don't watch Newsnight to solve all crimes.... PurpleAki said:

It's quite easy to get into the mind of most terrorists though isn't it? They see innocent people (most likely family) die in the Middle East because of the actions of the west (drone strike or just destabilisation of a country) and someone then harnesses that anger and hatred to kill those in this country as retribution?
still peddling your anti British agenda then.I mean WTF, are you sick or stupid or both?
To top it all off you then decide to try to make out that I'm saying something about refugees being terrorist?
Are you on drugs or something???
Honestly this is out of order, don't think defamation of character is an issue I take lightly, I will raise this with the mods.
