It never ceases to amaze me how stupid people are.

"I'm gonna go over and assault Jamal, make sure you video it and upload it to the internet so the police have some good evidence when they come knocking after this has inevitably gone viral".

Just let the school sort it out and that's that.
The thing is many schools don't, they just turn a blind eye or tell the person being bullied to keep away from the bully, the bullying itself is never resolved, just brushed under the carpet.
Either that or the one time the victim eventually snaps after being continuously tormented will be the one time the school takes an active role whereby they will punish and sanction the victim.
Yep, maybe this is part of the issue with knife crime.. Bully hits you, hits you again, throws you on the floor, kicks you.. Teachers do nothing, until you go back at him with a bigger threat, and then you're the criminal.

I was bullied at school, luckily my Dad (bigger than yours etc) went to the kids house and told the parents to sort it or he would, the bully never came to me again.. Probably moved into someone else to satisfy his ego/poor upbringing.

However

Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit ... well ...

staged - £50k's worth so far..
You possibly are the only one so cynical to think it is staged.
Perhaps you're right, I'm a miserably sod, probably as a result of all that abuse!

We'll see

This kind of thing used to go on on a daily basis at my school back in the 80's/90's, not saying it's right obviously, but it is a massive over reaction.

This trial by social media really worries me.

You can hear the big lad saying something like 'Say it again' suggesting the little kid had been mouthing off about him, typical teenage behaviour happens up and down the land as I said. Violence is clearly an over reaction, but just let the school sort it out and that's that.

All these 'celebrities' getting involved to show they are more caring than the next Z-lister, just fk off. They must have lived very sheltered lives.

yeah same, but will he get it or will his parents spend it for him?

at my school anyone who wasn't white got racist abuse daily, afaik it was never reported but some would get beat up too.

from what I've seen these days the school I went to is much more diverse and presumably doesn't have the same problems.

nice, there's something to be said for having a tough dad for sure although a couple of the bullies at my high school had parents in jail so there was no avenue there

He wasn't even tough, just think it was the fact he went there and showed the bully and family up. I felt great though laugh

Don’t think it’s staged. The kid just comes from a family of racist and idiotic thugs.

The brother....

With a family like that it's both the victim and the bully I feel sorry for.

I can't understand how society would have allowed a child to grow up thinking it's acceptable to bully a refugee child like this

oh wait yes I can

I don't think things have changed really, its always gone on, sad acts have always bullied weaker kids.

I got a bit of stick at secondary school but despite being a bit small and speccy (until about third year when I gained a foot of height), I was also fairly stupid and quite violent.

Its horrible, not wanting to go to school, avoiding people and generally having to be on your toes, but revenge is so sweet, at least this lad is getting his revenge one way or another.

Trouble is, nowadays, so many more routes to bully, at least at home on my Commodore 64 the knobheads couldnt message me, plus some kids are very stabby these days.

I remember a quote from McVicar that spurred me on,

"Alright, I know I'm gonna lose here. But I'll be the best second you've ever seen"

Yes because anyone who raises any concerns about accepting unlimited numbers of bogus "refugees" is clearly in favour of random acts of bullying and thuggery.

Nice victim blaming.

The kid was being routinely beaten up. See that cast he’s wearing? That’s from when they broke his arm. The school knew and the boys were allowed back into school with no punishment. They school knew about this video too and did nothing, that’s why the footage was released to a wider audience.

As for the 16 year old bully, his house is surrounded by police for his protection after his address was leaked online.
An appalling waste of police resources. He clearly thinks he's a big brave boy, let him look after himself.

I've seen a lot of people saying that the bully had broken the kid's arm and others saying that bullies had already broken his arm. Anyone seen anything confirming this? From the news sources that I have seen the story is just that he had a broken arm at the time of this assault.

Amazes me how there is always someone ready to batter someone based on what they hear on the news, not sure I would want to take time out of my day to go and hit a kid based on a news item.

Same with anything to do with paedos, always so much stuff about macerating genitals and general torture, usually offering to do it themselves which strikes me as pretty much as weird, apparently they should all be killed (slowly), but apparently not the one that was a 20 year old lad caught with a 15 year old girl, sorry, but rules is rules, off with his bks before he is killed...

Not supporting paedos, just amazed how many profess to wanting to do someone an injury or kill them based on what they are told, its a strange thing, usually the same halfwits that post stuff about not wanting Sharia law in the UK, I know there is more to Sharia law but there do seem to be a desire to have extrajudicial torture and killings.

Many of us white kids were bullied at our school by some of the black pupils who stuck together in a gang. Only trouble was, back in early 90's we didn't have mobile phones to catch it.

Whilst I don't know if bullying/racism is on the rise (it probably is, as we have more people in the country now) but it's certainly easier to catch and call out these days.

Feel so sorry for that boy. Of course I'm sure most of us don't know the full facts, but violence is never the answer.

Totally agree with you.

It was like running a gauntlet going to an inner city school during the 80's and 90's. Some would say character building.

At the extreme end I've had friends slashed, stabbed, and bottled whilst either at school, or on the way to or from same. It all got dealt with one way or another. Its amusing to see how life as worked out for some of those protagonists.

If I had 50k for every run in I'd had with gangs and bullies, Ooft I'd be rich.

I guess some people just like a night out with a torch and pitchfork. I doubt he's going to get anything more serious than a bit of harassment, but you know, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
