John Curtice has said it's 99% that the Conservatives lose the next election.
Come on man, who gives them a 1% chance! Curtice is a joke. - new new new

Oh, well if they were merely incompetent for the first 5 years and only corrupt for the last 9, I guess that makes it OK ;
Not sure they were incompetent either. I thought the coalition was okay.The rot started to set in post the referendum in my opinion.

We've had 14 years of the most incompetent and corrupt government ever and yet you're terrified of any change?
Dry your eyes mate and have a Google of Stockholm Syndrome - it might help you
Another one who doesn’t get it. There will be no change, it’s the same politics with a leader less credible than Boris Johnson FFS. Dry your eyes mate and have a Google of Stockholm Syndrome - it might help you

Considering local elections have a higher degree of protest voting then come May they are set to loose every single one of them.I predict 100% local election wipe out and Rishi to stand down the following day.

I don't think he will stand down following the local elections. It would throw the party into chaos and while he has many faults I don't think he is so ill-mannered as to leave behind that sort of carnage.I predict 100% local election wipe out and Rishi to stand down the following day.
I think he will stay, go into the election, lose heavily and then go ASAP.

I can’t see he’ll hang about. He’s probably already got a number of corporates after him. I think he will stay, go into the election, lose heavily and then go ASAP.

Agreed Carlo, PM was just an incredible achievement of his CV. Will make him very bankable in almost any country he didn't have a hand in running....
As always, it’s who you know….See Nick Clegg, Tony Blair, Leon Brittan, Scargill, Johnson, etc. etc.
I recently endured a dinner with Ed Balls, a more odious and self serving piece of boredom would be difficult to meet. I think he picked up 10K for that little number?
They’re all bankable. Very bankable.
It’s who they know.

I still can’t understand why the Tory party put May(a remainer) in charge to try and deliver Brexit - it’s almost as if they knew it wouldn’t work.

Likely because none of the Brexit lot ever expected to have to actually deliver it and no-one had any clue how to do it.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
