Unless everyone on this thread from Day One is an expert in US criminal, election & financial law then I reckon everyone is in over their heads. I’ve never claimed to be an expert, but there are some on here making some strong announcements that it’s all over, but being proven wrong over and over again.

I want him in jail, penniless and roundly mocked all over the US and world. I don’t think it will ever happen, but hey, I’m just a broken record.
I was one of those saying it's all over, and I haven't been proven wrong. And I still am saying it. He's done. Toast. Finished.

It's just, well, these things don't happen instantly. Which shouldn't need to be explained.

Like a supertanker. Momentum. It's going to crash, it's inevitable. But it hasn't yet. Does that mean it won't? No.

The problem is your insistence that because he's not in an orange jumpsuit right now, he's getting away with it.
I don't want to bore anyone but the fact is that the longer the guy is happily playing carefree golf, the longer he is getting away with it.
The tone and content of his TS posts aren't those you would expect from someone with a healthy mind who is enjoying life. Every day, slowly but surely, the walls are closing in on him - not quickly enough for some, but there is an inexorable process being played out which has a very high likelihood of Trump being deprived of his wealth and possibly his liberty. It's already destroying him, and he knows it.

Nothing in Trump's life is carefree anymore, and it probably never will be again.

I'll bet he isn't playing carefree golf. He'll be anxious to be the bestliest golfer on the course.
Even if a ball needs kicking in the hole…..the sycophants around him won’t hold him to account.
hehe

I sincerely believe (&hope!) the American people do later this year.

I can certainly see him kicking the fine cans down the road as long as he can, but I feel that ultimately this year is the year all his chickens are coming home to roost….
…but I get that many here feel he will wriggle and squirm his way out - it is, after all, how the little st has managed his entire life.
Ultimately none of us know what the state of play will be in the next 12-24 months.
Here’s hoping the music is indeed fully faced!

We will see and unfortunately as a Green Card holder, I cannot vote.

However, we are seeing a shift. This is one example:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/mar/27/al...

Lands flipped a seat that was a solid Republican one to a 63% Democrat one! Thats one massive shift and she campaigned on Alabama's total abortion and IVF ban. I personally believe that this holy war to turn the USA into some sort of religious nightmare is a disaster for the GOP. Its turning off a lot of their voters and its just not working.

Ok, so this is one representative in one senate in one state. Its virtually nothing in the big scheme of things. But its not just this. Multiple voter suppression laws were struck down in Montana, Kari Lake has requested default judgement on her lawsuit (because its bogus) and Trump is left to hawk $60 bibles....

The optics, errrr, dont look good. Now I am sure that it will be tighter that we might predict, but I really think that the GOP strategists need to have a re-think very quickly and get back on track.

In a year’s time Trump will be broke and a twice failed presidential candidate. The Supreme Court will have ruled that Presidents don’t have complete immunity and Trump will have been found guilty in 3 criminal trials.

Do you really think that three criminal trials will have happened between Nov 5th 2024 and March 28th 2025 and a verdict reached in all of them? It took them 5 months to deal with a civil trial where the verdict had already been reached and they were just assessing the amount of damages.

Hey: we can hope, no?
hehe

As I said above, there will be no end of wriggling, but the stars are aligning.
Whilst anything is possible, the Biden campaign is starting to ramp up….& I sense there is a reasonable possibility that the GOP could get trounced in November.

I dive into Truth Social every now & then (with my unidentifiable ID wink) to berate and take the piss out of the orange buffoon.
It is mostly a MAGAcult fest, but there are a bunch of folk also pointing out the ludicrous flaws in him too….

Clearly only time will tell….

Lets not forget Jnr begging the faithful for $5 donations biggrin

and that the trump campaign said none of the money raised from Bible sales will go to trumps campaign (probably because it's going to pay his legal bills?)

John Eastman has lost his case. A California judge has recommended that John Eastman, the lawyer at the center of Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election, be disbarred and lose his law license.

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/03/27/politics/judge-...

Clark next...

John Eastman's wrongdoing in 2020 was so extensive, along with his refusal to accept responsibility so pervasive, that the judge found only remedy for is disbarment.

The 128-page opinion was a thorough rebuke of the trump lawyer

Judge Rowland also ruled that State bar investigators proved that Eastman conspired with trump to violate criminal laws and derail the transfer of power,

I’ll thoroughly enjoy it, if it happens. I reckon the election will be sadly a lot closer than anyone wants.

Courts spokesman Al Baker says the Twitter account Trump attributed to Judge Merchan’s daughter hasn't belonged to her for a year.

Edit: So surely the FBI/someone should be getting a discovery order slapped on twitter for both this fake Merchan-daughter account and the fake Engoron-spouse account that was created. See who did it and if it leads back to team trump...

Because they both popped up and were found by trump very quickly

Union worker responds to trump who said anyone who doesn't vote for him isn't smart
“That’s Donald Trump in a nutshell, the man who sits on a golden toilet, taking sh*ts on workers all day, is telling you you’re not smart…
He just expects the union vote HE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING TO EARN IT…
We’re proud to stand with a president who walks picket lines, who passes infrastructure bills, and actually talks about union leadership and membership.
That’s why we’re going to back Joe Biden.”

Trump has been exposed as the would be emperor with no clothes

Lev Parnas has dropped a video of himself and Giuliani sitting speaking to Ukrainian Prosecutor General Victor Shokin on the phone

Giuliani to Shokin: "I guess what I'm getting at is — I understand that. I understand why that's wrong; is there any specific act that any of these people performed? Did they get a kickback? Did they get a bribe?"

Shokin: "No"

Daily Beast are reporting that Matt Schlapp's accuser of sexual abuse got $480K to drop his sexual battery lawsuit, from CPAC's insurance, sources say. The accuser also took issue with a statement CPAC released in his name, as well as Schlapp's posts celebrating the resolution.

So they paid him off, then made up stuff about him to further clear Schlapp

You need to watch Jessica in the lions den of Judge Jennine and Watters
Jessica: It is reflected in the polling on it, how much money Biden is fundraising and the kind of campaign that he is running. He’s been to every single swing state since the SOTU. Donald Trump has had that rally in Ohio otherwise he’s been in courtrooms and golfing

https://twitter.com/i/status/1773103186154258731

They swung a red state by a huge amount over abortion. The background stuff is there. There's no money going to trump, it's all going to Biden. Bidens campaigning, trumps bunkered down playing golf because he's skint or in court.

There's so much to come out yet. I predict the GOP will be massacred
